My latest manifestation

Off Craigslist again.

I have been wanting to girly up my daughter's room (her bed is VERY masculine - it was my husband's bed when he was growing up). I saw a listing for a daybed with a trundle on Craigslist for free. I was the second person to respond, but the first person flaked, so I am picking up the daybed tomorrow morning.

3. I'm not being flippant....

....but what's your secret? I've tried and tried to manifest things/ssituations, and it never seems to work out! I'm wondering if I'm expecting the wrong things or visualizing it wrong, or something like that?

6. I use a visioning board

I put pictures bearing the essence of what I want on the board. I try to spend a few minutes every day meditating on the essence of what I want, and affirm that the Universe has already bestowed said gift on me. Some things have taken longer to manifest than others.

Since I have become conscious of manifesting, I have manifested the following items, either for free or at very low cost:

A Karaoke machine (new in box)
A lateral file cabinet
A task chair for my home "office"
A laser printer fax copier
A set of patio furniture
A piano
A KitchenAid stand mixer
A daybed with a trundle
Two bar stools
A gas powered lawn mower
Two large jade plant cuttings
3 bookcases
2 DVD towers
1 media shelving unit
A chest freezer

And a bunch of things like parking places, and other small things.

The physical act of manifestation has come mostly through Craigslist and Freecycle.

If I am manifesting something to replace something I already have, I then give the other thing away to the Universe (via listing things on Craigslist for free or putting things out for the charities that pick used items up). Thus the energies are balanced.

If I "ask" in desperation, my manifestations seem to take a lot longer to appear.

4. I manifested an extra donut today

Seriously--On the way to dropping MG Jr. at grandma's this morning, I did a Dunkin' Donuts drivethrough. I ordered coffee and a plain croissant (not the best but not the worst item on their menu), and of course I had to order a chocolate frosted donut for MG Jr.

The wah-wah voice asked if I wanted to order two donuts to get the combo price, but I was afraid I'd eat it, so I said no. Paid, got the bags, pulled into a parking spot to get the donut out for Jr...and found a chocolate glazed cake donut instead of a chocolate frosted (even though the wah-wah voice had repeated it back to me correctly).

Soooo I had to go inside to make the switch, but the girl behind the counter just gave me the right donut and didn't want the wrong donut back.

I gave the extra one to my mom. I'm kind of proud that I didn't succumb to the lure of the delicious, free, manifested donut.
