Interesting, this, from astrodienst.com !
Absolutely SPOT on, in light of the job/life/location changes I've contemplating!!!

Personal Daily Horoscope of Thursday, 15 February 2007
for hippiechick, born 13 August 1966

The forces at work ***
Valid during many months: During this time you will have to withstand severe challenges to your way of life as it is set up now. As we grow up, we structure our lives to a certain degree, and we come to depend upon this structure for predictability and order. Sometimes, however, the structure is repressive rather than expressive of our true selves. But if it is safe, we tend to keep it regardless of whether we are happy with it. Nevertheless, at some point in our lives the internal energies of this arrangement of our world must evolve or be totally destroyed. Now is such a time in your life. You must adapt to the forces at work during this period for your own sake! You may feel like the victim of some massive external force beyond your control that is forcing you to move, but actually the dynamics for change are inherent in your own life structure.

During this time some circumstance or situation will create forces that seem to push against you. You may feel very pressured to do something that you don't want to do at all, and you will probably put up tremendous resistance. If your life structure is a valid expression of who you are, your efforts to resist will probably be successful. Otherwise you will be forced to change. In either case this period will be characterized by enormous expenditure of energy. If you handle it successfully, you will be able to strive forward and reach new heights as an individual.

As this influence begins, you may find that certain resources - financial, material or otherwise - are no longer available and that you are forced more and more to fall back upon your own devices. This is part of the test of this time. It is not usually a good time to expand your operations in any field of activity, especially business. Nor is it a good time to spend your energies making everything around you as solid and safe as possible. The best course, which you will be least inclined to take, is to openly and honestly examine all aspects of your life and voluntarily give up whatever you don't really need - those things that make you feel secure but do not aid your personal evolution.

Transit selected for today: Pluto Square Saturn
Activity period: end of January 2007 until middle of November 2008.

1. Sounds very much like what you've been writing.
What do you think it is saying TO YOU? Stay/Go?

2. I don't know if it's so much stay vs. go ...
... but its definitely telling me its time to stop taking the path of least resistance and coasting by being less-than-content ... rather, I should grab myself by the short curlies, get out of my comfort zone and actually DO something.

My instinct, of course, is :hide: .

And that does need to change before I end up like Howard Hughes.

:hi: What does it say to you, fellow Leo ?

That struck a cord in me. Although I am leo rising, I understood this exactly. It resonates that's for sure.

Sorry for the delay in reply .. been working a lot, and getting in my fun times :D

I've been saying for awhile now that you are on the leading edge of some kind of 'breakthrough'.
I can see/feel you asking for it. Forgive my mention (I'm 'older' than you), but your birthday this year is something of a milestone. Until I turned 45, when asked my age, I always said "close to 40". True statement. There were large changes in my life during those years. Could be just me, or a common personal transition. I know quite a few people born in 1966, including my youngest sister, the 'friend', a good friend I met in massage school, and random people I meet all the time. It was a very good year!

I don't think you are hanging onto the past. Your mind may still be trying to figure out 'what happened'. You have stated that you are ambivalent, about the possible new job, about a move.
I know it is sometimes hard to get clear on what we really want. That seems to stand in the way of things moving along. I'm working on that myself. There's the long term goal, but I don't know what steps to take to achieve that. I'm planning to join a Master Mind group, and focus more time on the activities that will move me in that direction.

Do you have RL people you can discuss spiritual matters with?
I would be interested in seeing your numerology results. http://www.affinity-numerology.com/ has a program that will calculate this for you. I could do it but don't know your birth name.
What personal year is this for you? Share all the results if you are willing.
All my numbers are 4 except 'Destiny', which is 8. My birth date is 8/4 also. Guess which numbers I play the hard way on craps table? ;)
This is my 'Personal Year' 3. Lotsa fun.

6. Hi Votes! Here's the info:
That numerology site is interesting!!!

Your Inner or Soul's Urge: This is spiritual and emotional expression more than physical. It is your heart-felt desires, your incentive, how you look at life. Here are your areas of personal satisfaction. Number: 11

You desire harmony, love, companionship, and peace with people; and you enjoy ease and comfort. You have great inner strength. You prefer kindness and thoughtfulness to the alternatives. As a dreamer and visionary, you desire others to know the necessity of living true to ideals.

Many people call themselves your friend. You are a natural peacemaker and diplomat.

You are often studious, attract many things to yourself, accumulate much wisdom. Spiritual and psychic sensitivity are available to you simply by your recognition of them. As such, you have the capacity to develop clairvoyant or other psychic abilities.

You try to reveal the beauties you have seen and known. You enjoy study and accumulating wisdom, especially with a background of music. You are capable of remarkable inventions.

Daily meditation may enhance your already considerable spiritual and psychic sensitivity, and this can allow you to cultivate more human understanding.

Your Personality: This is physical expression more than spiritual or emotional; your outer self, the way you express when meeting others. It may or may not be the real you. Number: 8

You appear friendly, persuasive, self-controlled, and positive, with a powerful personality that attracts respect from both leaders and subordinates. You are one who gets things done.

You hesitate to demonstrate emotion or tenderness.

To do your personality justice, you should always be well-dressed in good materials that give you an appearance of success.

Your Quiescent Self: Stripping away all outside influences, aspirations, ambitions, "shoulds", and "shouldn'ts" -- this is you when you are alone; just you and your dreams.. Number: 8

You envision yourself as the Executive Director and/or on the Board of Directors of many large, international companies. Your suite of offices is expansive, with dedicated staff sufficient to do business on the enormous scale that you do.

Your thoughts and pleasure are of vibrant businesses with you as the executive and your professional staff taking care of the details.

Your Destiny or Ultimate Goal: This is your desired lifetime accomplishment. It is a key to a useful and happy life, and to feeling fulfillment during your latter days. Number: 1

Your destiny is leadership. You come to this position through your own actions. Not by aggressive or dominant behavior, but by relying on your own inner strength, self-reliance, and determination. Your originality and your initiative can put you in a place of authority or leadership during your lifetime.

You have a healthy respect for individuality. You are innovative, and are often asked to lead, direct, and manage the affairs of people and organizations. When you have specifically defined and visualized goals, your powers of concentration and focus allow you to achieve them quickly and fully. You are happiest in the role of pioneer, explorer, creator, inventor, leader, director, chief executive, owner of any business, or editor of any periodical publication.

You wish to be left unhampered to carry out your own ideas.

Your Life's Path: Here are clues to what fate has in store for you. It indicates the type of encounters, events, and opportunities you are likely to experience along your physical life path. Number: 7

Your path is along the lines of research, investigation and mental analysis. This includes meditation and introspection. Your opportunities will often be brought to you without having to go get them. The manifestation of those opportunities tend to have something in common with quiet places away from bustle and confusion.

You work well with theories and fundamentals, seeking wisdom and hidden truths. When you use your own ideas and judgment, dedication, and scientific attitude, along with your intuition, your decisions will enable you to reach your goals.

You can be alone without feeling lonely. You respect intelligence and are continuously accumulating knowledge for yourself. You have an intense reasoning capacity.

Others will perceive you as having more warmth and less aloofness when you balance your knowledge and its pursuit with compassion and human sensitivity. That combination inspires wisdom.

This Year's Path: Here is what you are likely to encounter this year -- your feelings, your predominant perspective, and the type of situations, circumstances, and opportunities you tend to attract during the calendar year. Number: 3

This is the year to express your inspiration, your imagination, your creative thought, and your deep emotional feelings. You desire to do more entertaining this year and accept more invitations. Take time off to enjoy yourself.

You can give color and warmth to all levels of living. Be artistic. Express yourself joyfully. Now is the time to follow those inspirational and imaginative ideas you are so excited about. Follow your desire for self-improvement; the year is rich with opportunities for inner growth.

It is a colorful and eventful year, with pleasure, opportunities for travel, enjoyable social activities, and entertainment coming your way.

Allow your abundance of cheer and optimism to guide you.

Next Year's Path. Number: 22

This is a practical year; no long leisurely periods for dreaming, personal indulgence, or careless living. It is a time to build the firm and secure foundation upon which your future depends, using practical values and steady application. It is also the time to work out the details of that project you've been thinking about.

The year opens the door to a greater understanding of your soul purpose. It presents opportunities to serve on a larger scale.

This is the year to find where you stand in life, and to be practical about it -- to pay attention to details; no time for careless living. This is your chance, with hard work and specific orientation, to do something big for yourself and for the good of the world. It is the year to put your dreams to practical use.

This year demands a lot of work, not only to improve the present but also to build practical foundations for the future. Your diligence brings commensurate rewards. With good sense, you can meet all requirements and experience satisfactory gain.

Your gatherings, meetings, parties, and trips are mostly related to work or business. Read the fine print of all transactions.

As part of the practical focus of this year, attend to health matters.

Last Year's Path. Number: 2

Harmonious associations are very important for you this year. The year's success and good results will be obtained through diplomacy, cooperation, tactfulness, and good relationships. It is a year for receiving and sharing rather than aggressively pursuing your own way.

Your intuition and emotions are enhanced this year.

It is a busy year, with endless demands on your time. It is easier to work with others rather than doing things by yourself.

Your plans and developments may experience periods of delay. No need to worry about that. Things move slower this year.

The year can revitalize your peace of mind. It is a good time to strengthen your friendships.

7. It all sounds very
reasonable in my knowing you. Especially Inner Soul's Urge (11). Eleven is a magical number and seven is also considered 'spiritual'.

I love the year three! Interesting that we both have that calculation.
Glad you enjoyed the site.

What else?

8. Here's a "what else" ...
O8)

Interesting development at my new part time job.

It all started a couple weeks ago - one evening, a newer agent dude was hanging out at my reception desk, passing the time, and some chick came in to meet another agent, who's a (female) friend of hers. I sent her up the elevator, and the dude that was talking to me decided to hop the elevator at the same time ... :eyes: then comes back down the stairs in a few minutes ...

... about 30 minutes later, the friend-agent calls and asks me 'who that guy on the elevator was' and do I know if he's single, etc ... well, dude is in an office near my desk and hears me mention his name, and comes out of the office all giggly & horndoggy "oh, she WAS cute" blah blah ...

... and here I sit, feeling like chopped liver y'know?

Of late, he and I haven't crossed paths. Until this morning.

The office is slow on Sunday mornings & he was assigned 'floor duty', so he parks himself at my desk with a cup of coffee and asks me if I remember that incident ... I play dumb and after a little bit, 'remember' ... he proceeds to tell me that he talked to agent-friend and elevator chick is actually MARRIED with 2 KIDS! Skank!! LOL!

Anyway, he spent the next 90 minutes at my desk talking about relationships (turns out he's 39 - even though he looks 32ish), his brother, life in Chicago (he recently moved here from there) ... the Monon, bicycling, and eventually got around to politics -- he's a LEFTIE ! ... so we talked about Cheney, Iraq, Congress, the crushed national infrastructure etc ...

... and ended up exchanging cell phone #'s and email addy's, and on his way out of the office, I was on a call but he turned around and winked at me while he was walking out ... :-)

More new beginnings ?!? O8)

9. LOL!
all giggly & horndoggy too funny.

Sounds like a match! Someone you can talk with.
I never date repukes. What a waste of time that would be.

Is he a bachelor? What is the Monon? :duh:

I heard a program on NPR the other day about romance in the workplace. It can actually be very beneficial to the company and the couple. Southwest airlines advertises that it has 1,100 couples (2,200 employees). They say it increases loyalty and productivity. So ... ya'll could be doing your employer a favor

10. Yes, he's single
... just ended an 8 year relationship, moved to Indy from CHI and she refuses to give him his furniture. Uh, ok. Mature, huh? In hindsight - the way he went about the conversation - its SO obvious that he was fishing to find out my status ....

The Monon is a converted old railway that's now a 25 mile running/biking path that cuts thru Indy north-south. http://www.indygreenways.org/monon/monon.htm It's where I walk my doggies every day and a good place to check out people of the opposite gender :) ...

I don't know how much we'll actually 'work together' since real estate agents are pretty much on their own schedules (I only work at the office about 12 hours a week) but he did ask me if I work every Sunday morning  ...

IF I get an offer from the NCAA though, I'd have to quit the PT job because the NCAA hours would conflict, but hopefully we'll have enough time over the next couple weeks to at least get a friendship outside the office started.

:bounce:

11. Way cool.
Against everyone I know's better judgment, M and I are friends again. We go to some meetups together, and out to the water and nature (my church). No other involvement. Which is good. I don't need that right now. Since I'm feeling better *, everything is a much smoother ride.

By "bachelor" I literally meant never been married. When I got back into dating, I was amazed at the number of 40+ true bachelors there are. One was a 46 y/o friend. He did get married a couple of years ago. Living together probably qualifies as 'married' if it was a long period of time. I only mention it because it seems never married men are *different*. nuff said

Whatever you do, HAVE FUN! :bounce:

13. Yes ma'm. You can count on it.
The situation, allowing friendship, helps me. I don't have so many regrets. It's a way to clean up some of my past screw ups.
I'm not perfect, hard as that is to believe
Plus it gives me someone to hang with sometimes. We really do have a lot in common. Our views of spirituality almost match up, which is very important. Many men are not at all interested in those things. This time I have a lot of my own 'friends' .. people I've met through meetup, etc. I'm not dependent on him for my life and stuff. Have my own little world carved out :D

Keep me updated. I don't watch tv.

Another accurate site is Cyberastro.com, especially the Week Ahead section.
