Remember last week's full moon ceremony?
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=245&topic_id=28532&mesg_id=28532

Did anything strange happen to you?

We were very itchy the whole evening, all over. We couldn't pin down the cause. Then, nightmares ever since: we're both dreaming of random attacks in other people's homes. In my last nightmare early this am I dreamt that I couldn't wake dh up from his, and I was mute or paralyzed/unable to speak. It was a struggle for me to wake up, myself, and to speak his name. I'm really done with this. I want some sleep!

Well, I can remember one positive dream: Bill Gates was showing me his new product, which was a pool of little balls that looked like styrofoam. You sit on the edge of the pool stare into it and think hard and things form in the pool: water rings, then shapes: telekenesis! It was so fun! I thanked Bill for showing me his invention. He asked me when he was done with the demo if I wanted to sell it for him. I said, hell no, you're Bill Gates and I'll never sell anything for you!

Then I realized that the pool was just a shell, that he 'invented' something we could do anyway. So I thanked him for showing it to me again. At my realization, I then had the ability to pull the beads out of the pool, and manifest new shapes out of thin air, and they started orbiting my head and I tried coming up with more and more complex shapes.

At that point I was woken up by my husband's nightmare. Bummer.

1. I'm sorry to hear this, Crikkett. I did the ceremony, and I've not had...
any weird phenomena occur.

I wonder what is happening. :(

2. Oh, nothing to be sorry about, thanks for the thought though.
Even my dog had a nightmare last night, at least I assume one from the way she moaned in her sleep.

I checked in with the Global Consciousness Project and they don't have anything up about last friday (prob. too early).

Nothing to worry about, wrt us. October is a creepy month anyway.

3. perhaps you are letting go of some fears?
I wonder -

I currently lack any memory of dreams - :(

So your one fun dream is probably a great indicator that you will create out of thin air - everything is new - no attachments to what you have feared before?
Your choosing - your manifestation.

4. Hi crikkett,
That dream with Bill Gates and Telekinesis sounds AWESOME!! What a wonderful reminder!

I didn't click on your link, but if you're talking about the ceremony last Friday night at 11 PM, I wonder if this dream is telling you ways to manifest less harm to Gaia. Or perhaps it's showing you ways you can help her heal from the devastation of others' unconcern.

Again, AWESOME dream!

5. Both my husband and I had a terribly restless night on Friday
my husband had nightmares and we were both exhausted on Saturday. I didn't remember any dreams but felt that I'd been battling all night.

So yes something "interesting" took place with us as well. Since there were at least two threads about the shadow side being faced and released I figured that had something to do with it.

7. No but I send energy out to all who are working for peace
constantly. I am sorry I didn't get to do the ceremony with everyone else.

8. Oh, I was only asking to see if maybe someone else...
who was part of the ceremony was having the same experience that Crikkett was. Given the fact that you didn't participate in this particular ceremony, I think that it's more likely that what she experienced didn't have anything to do with the ceremony.

9. I actually thought it had to do with our own stuff but the full moon
was somehow connected. My husband and I were tossing around that idea and that we have never been bothered by a full moon like this but other factors could have been in play as well.

I thought it had to do with clearing old stuff.

The itching episode was spectacular, though, and at its most intense during the time of the ceremony. It lasted only that evening. It could have been the water or a mold bloom, the weather supported each possibility.

13. I was really, really restless all day Friday. Things were...
popping into my head that I thought that I'd dealt with completely already. For instance, I'm a vegetarian (and have been for a long time), and I started thinking about eating meat -- all the meats that I used to really enjoy. I also felt as though I wanted to take recreational drugs. Where that came from I'll never know because I've never done that in my life. (I think that I had problems in past lives with drugs and just knew that doing so would be a problem in this life. No judgment of anyone else.) There were other similar things like that. These feelings lasted until I went home and put on some music and started just moving to it. I don't know why that helped, but it did. I did the ceremony after that without incident.

It was definitely a weird day.

11. I participated in the ceremony.
I didn't have any nightmares, but thought I'd share how my dogs were acting. They were unusually active and didn't want to settle down. Took me about an hour to get them to settle down and go to bed - which has never happened before.

14. Well whaddaya know - kid plays video game with brain waves

Teenager moves video icons just by imagination
Hands off

By Tony Fitzpatrick

Oct. 9, 2006 -- Teenage boys and computer games go hand-in-hand.

A brain-machine interface allowed this patient to play the computer game Space Invaders using just brain signals.

Now, a St. Louis-area teenage boy and a computer game have gone hands-off, thanks to a unique experiment conducted by a team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and engineers at Washington University in St. Louis.

The boy, a 14-year-old who suffers from epilepsy, is the first teenager to play a two-dimensional video game, Space Invaders, using only the signals from his brain to make movements.
<snip>
Here's how:

The teenager had a grid atop his brain to record brain surface signals, a brain-machine interface technique that uses electrocorticographic (ECoG) activity - data taken invasively right from the brain surface. It is an alternative to a frequently used technique to study humans called electroencephalographic activity (EEG) - data taken non-invasively by electrodes outside the brain on the scalp. Engineers programmed the Atari software to interface with the brain-machine interface system.
