Cheney New Pic 9/29/06
Edited on Fri Sep-29-06 09:50 PM by MissWaverly
Okay, what's the scoop on this picture, it's an AP photo taken today of Dick Cheney listening
to Bush make remarks to the press during meeting of Prez. Nursultan Nazarbayev in Oval Office. It was taken today at 10:43 am. AP Photo/Gerald Herbert and was posted on Yahoo!
Special thanks to Crankie Avalon and Ellen for bringing this to my attention
Miss Waverly

She looks very solemn but she has one foot in a casual pose, I am sure that she thought the
photographer would only do a head shot. I never see people stand like that when at prayer.

but what I do think is that Cheney looks extremely bloated, I saw him on Tim Russert a week
ago and he did not look like this. I think he has treatments for this but it is only around
10:30 am and he looks tired and ill. Notice you don't see any of his neck at all, so he
must be retaining a lot of water.

Has a very unpleasant pallor. (BTW--should have clarified--I was interested that only he and Condi had that pose--everyone else's head was up and they were looking straight ahead.)

And I think that the American people have a right to know if he has health issues that impact
on his job. But I must admit that it took me 3/4 of an hour to edit it so that it was readable, it was not an enjoyable experience.

That was my first impression. I think they may have lost grip on the chimp.
I have no idea what his comments were and even more sure I don't give a chimp's butt.

Cheney reminds me of A. Sharon in this pic. And we know he's still a vegie. Isn't he?

Blessed healers that we are . ASIDE . didn't we know it would be SWEET to watch the evil empire crumble? The Spirit of Americans cannot be tumbled by the likes of these. How they must suffer. In their $300.00 shoes. aww what a shame. Do they understand frontier spirit? Do they not know we are bred from adversity? / sermon over / ps . let them eat cake

16. My spin
I think that Cheney is having some state of the art treatment that is actually able to
mitigate his health issues. I don't know what, but I think that it only works for a limited
time; and I think it's effectiveness is wearing off. The only way to get a better prognosis
would have been to have a major lifestyle change: diet, cut down or eliminating alcohol
and maybe a respirator. I don't know but I do not think he looks well at all in this
photo and it's a bit of a shcok since I saw him on Tim Russert so recently.

17. I feel you're right
Folks in GD joke about his eating puppies and drinking newborns' blood for breakfast to keep his strength up, and I think that's a close, albeit nasty, version of what's really going on. There have been rumors going around for years about advanced medical techniques being used to sustain, heal, or even (cue James Bond theme) kill political figures. I wouldn't doubt it. They're capable of anything.

Edited on Sat Sep-30-06 08:14 PM by MissWaverly
most people have a lifetime of bad habits that impact on one another, we know Cheney loves
well salted food which is bad for people with heart conditions. I don't think he would
be the type to change his habits. He would take pills but change habits, not likely,
I think.

But there is a definite grip there. Or loss of grip? I don't care to speculate on his physical condition. He's a pig. Pure and simple. Always has been always will. He may be alive due to artificial means.. well that's obvious. Nothing authentic. What a despicable spectacle.

Votesomemore, I think that Kindasleezy needs to have her "face" peeled off of her skulland replaced with ANYTHING!! She probably shatters mirrors as she walks past. I was actually told by a bushbot, who, I suppose, thought he was giving me a complement when he said that with a very straight face, "Has anyone ever told you look just like condie rice??!!!" "HUH?" My husband was PISSED, pulled all of his 6'6" Czech body up, (ex military)and told him in a genuine Texan accent,"She don't look nothing like that witch!"

I looked back at the guy and he looked like he was going to choke, BIGTIME!!

And that's quite a change from the Russert interview of just...four weeks ago, when he looked tan and smug. He actually looked better than I'd seen him look in a while in that interview. What a difference a camera crew makes, I guess.

32. Congestive Heart Failure.
Impared heart function makes you retain water. When you retain water your heart function is even more impared. It is a downward spiral that can be treated with Diuratics like Lasix. The worse your heart function the worse the water retention problem gets.

The big problem with Congestive Heart Failure is that over time Lasix doesn't work as well in an oral form--your body doesn't absorb it well enough when you get to a certain amount of retained fluid--and THEN you have to go to IV infusions of it to get rid of the water.

At the end stages of CHF, you can be pretty much limited to a consant drip of Lasix to stay alive.

My guess is that Unca Dick is not only in bad health, but he's probably getting to the point where he needs pretty frequesnt shots of Lasix to keep on functioning.

A guy I know who is a heart doc made the observation a few years ago that Cheney was clearly showing signs of CHF even back then. His observation was based on the puffiness of Cheney's wrists in the wire photos and on the TV shows.

The CIA has an entire division that checks photos of world leaders to monitor for health issues. You have to know that Docs here in the US do it as a matter of habit.

Regards.

Laura

saying it. He has been on heavy duty meds for a number of years now.

My money is on IV Lasix, not injections. How often do you think it is being done? Would they do a permanent port?

I would love to see his office. Bet the equipment is there, with a med tech on stand by.

38. He has to be on an IV drip
he could not have lost all the fluid and then appear as Mr. Slim and Trim for these
Tv interviews; I don't buy it and then 2 weeks later; he's back to the sleeping
Cheney (a thin version of Alfred Hitchcock). His condition must be serious for him
to be swelling up like this. I saw the same thing with my mom, it was horrible to
see my mother who was slim and trim swell up like a NFL quarterback.

... I'm sure the combination of Darth's bad ticker with his years of steaks and scotch have him bloating for a variety of reasons.

Part of me thinks the Evil Bastard can't leave this plane fast enough ... and the other part is horrified that when he does, his energy will be directly working for them and probably be stronger because he'll have shed the bloated corpse he's currently dragging around. :scared:

40. ... funny you put it that way ...
My dad was a long, long, longtime alcoholic and self-abuser along the lines of Darth Cheney and as his body shut down, it did so only to the point that he was still 'alive' but unconscious (to us): bloated, his liver and kidneys were shutting down so essentially he was drowning in his own fluid but his heart monitor was goin' strong so if he was at all conscious of pain he must have been miserable ... this went on for about a week.

One of the nuns who made the rounds at the hospital he was in said that she thought he was "having a chat with God and settling the bill", ie - walking thru purgatory - before he could pass.

Makes one wonder. O8)

43. my dad was two people, one a good dad, the other an abuser
When he died I dreamed that he was in the valley of death, it's a place where I think you go
after you die, everything was grey around where my dad was, but you could look up and see this beautiful blue sky with white puffy clouds, and everyone had a special glow to them,
the kind of glow that you have when you get back from the beach, except for my dad who
was immaculately dressed as always but he looked lifeless (which I interpret to be w/o grace), and everyone else kept looking up and I understood that they were looking up because
that is where they were going to be, and I heard a voice say that the only thing that saved
my dad was his love for me. And then I realized that the sunshine over there is not just
sunshine but it is God's love which I could feel, his love can be felt everywhere over there except for those who have shut themselves off. While I am feeling this tremendous love, my father is pounding his cane and angrily complaining about the "neighbors." I believe that he has since gone on after being "helped" by others over
there.

bad news that Cheney and Rice know about in advance - because he as President and she as ??? told George that he would have to announce the bad news to this group.

Perhaps the monetary perks for both of them just fell through?

It is nearly impossible to have any respect for them except as part of a lesson from this incarnation.
