Rick DiClemente's Starself for October '06
<snip>

October is going to be a good month, with the aftermath of the Saturn-Neptune opposition and 2 eclipses, the Sun’s entry into Scorpio, another Mercury Retrograde period, the end of Daylight Savings, and finally Halloween. Have we all survived since Pluto is now a dwarf? Tell someone going through a Pluto transit that it’s just a wittle dwarf.

Believe me, I’m tired of beating this dead horse too, but now that we are on the other side of this 8/31 Saturn opposition to Neptune, a few words need to be said. When a major transit is “over” geometrically, its effect can not only persist for months but sometimes doesn’t even manifest until afterwards. A long story short echoes what I have been stressing for 2 or 3 months. Saturn has “forced” us to face our issues. Draw a line, stand your ground, and face parts of your life that aren’t working. And at the same time, keep your valid, heart-felt dreams alive (Neptune). Saturn has also brought most of us the courage to face these things. For others who have unfortunately insisted on maintaining the head-in-the-sand posture, the situation has become dire.

Lot’s going on, let’s get started because October promises to be a great month. Why? Succinctly, because the Sun is traveling with Mars and Venus (sexy and pleasant) and there is a traveling T-square to Jupiter in Scorpio. Many of us will experience Fall as a huge boost to our sense of self-worth and we will receive verification that we are on the right track.

<snip>

10/6 Full Moon 11:13pm 13˚ Aries 43’ – This Full Moon is definitely going to be a welcome one. It is traveling opposite the fab trio of the Sun, Venus and Mars, all in Libra. Translation: this one is going to bring us some good beginnings and rejuvenation to our relationships. This will come in handy especially with the persistent bruising of the recent Saturn/Neptune opposition, the 9/7 Uranian Lunar eclipse, and the 9/22 Plutonian Solar eclipse. Also, some beautiful, charismatic children are about to be born. This is also accompanying a powerful T-square to Jupiter, making things even better! No, you can’t all win the lottery at once.

Glad you are still with us. We Leos have been taking a beating. and you can stop with the pan now. THanks.

Tonight was a totally awakening. I have so been hoping for the best.
Healing and all .. and you know we are here. Mother lionesses after all.
Lick you all over and then show you how to hunt.

I have absolutely had it. Chips. They fall. Sometimes we lose a lion cub. Damn that hurts.

New beginnings, new litter. You know we are mothers at heart. But getting over the lost cub.
Ack. Wish I had some wisdom.

But I also want to honor those who have lost their real life cubs in this life.
I don't know how you do it.

I know my personality would go crazy in the streets. But ya'll are much more dignified.
But PLEASE PLEASE know that whatever you have to do, we live in the jungle and it' okay.
Sometimes I hate that we live in a "civilized" country and people are not allowed to show their total justified grief.

I pray for all of you who suffer loss that someone will let you show it.

edit: btw.. whatever aspect we have now. The TIES are CUT. Oh yeah, baby. onward.
I found out I can go back to my old job next week.
Do not let the bastards get you down. Not ever! No matter what suit they're wearing. K?

8. Thanks Votes ...
... small victory for our side, after having my car die for no reason last week (I'm blaming it on September's evil influence) ... I went looking on Saturday and found a car I really liked.

Didn't start to negotiate the purchase until after the turn of the month (yesterday) and got the excellent news that I've qualified for decent financing and picked up the car last evening. Brand spankin' new.

No more guessing 'is it going to start' when I walk outside in the morning.
No more wondering how much the next repair is going to cost me and what bill I'll have to skip paying in order to cover it.

A huge weight lifted off my shoulders yesterday - one less thing to worry about.

O8) October will be a much, much better month. :hug:

4. I wonder if there's a way to
reconnect with our valid, heart-felt dreams alive (Neptune). Seems somewhere over the last two months, or so, I've lost my connection with hopes & dreams.

5. I can identify with that
utterly confused on "that dream" , perhaps - but this reading is a hopeful sign..

I love that one b/w picture is it cats or dogs with their tails crossed? What a moment. :)

7. "that dream" confusion?
May I ask, what confuses you about "that dream"? I was referring to the gradual transit of Neptune thru Aquarius (our hopes and dreams)....? Rick

6. Don't lose hope, Leos, any of us
The recent Saturn opposition to Neptune has caused many to keep their noses to the grindstones. Fire signs don't do well usually with Saturn transits. We must keep our dreams alive even though we're going thru severe tests. This transiting t-square to Jupiter is really going to help. You really have to be honest with yourself on this one: Saturn is not going to let us off the hook right now until we get things straight. Times come when some things just have to be settled before Saturn will let us continue on into another cycle or sub-cycle and things get more messed up. Keep faith, the light at the end of the tunnel is just around the corner!

Rick
