Rocky Anderson for POTUS?

Hi everyone! I mostly lurk here, rarely post, but IIRC, there was a post about predictions for 2008. One included a prediction that the Democratic nominee (& eventual POTUS--can't remember) was a politician from the West that no one was really paying attention to at the time. Based on what I saw on Countdown last night, could that predicion have been about Rocky Anderson, mayor of SLC? :shrug:

In my opinion anyway. No, I'm not going to elaborate on whom I know we'll have as 2008 nominee 'cause I've been there/done that and most here think I'm wrong, which is fine. Please don't PM me, either, I'm not going there again. I just don't see it happening for anyone other than my person who...isn't Mayor Anderson. Plus, I think the prediction you're thinking of came from Pink Tiger, who (I think, not totally positive) identified one Western politician the Dems could run next time as a governor. Just going by common sense, I doubt there's a way a mayor could get nominated for the Democratic ticket next time.
