Good news update
Edited on Wed Aug-30-06 08:44 AM by MorningGlow
Hey everyone,

I posted this at the end of my psychics/sensitives thread (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=245x26379), but just in case that one drops down, I wanted to let you know that things are much better today.

Last night (Tuesday) I felt a palpable change in energy, like someone switched on a lamp (one with a nice, soft, homey glow). Specifics:

  • I was at a huge meeting yesterday afternoon and made a comment and saw the VP SMILING. PHEW!

  • MorningGlow Jr. has started to feed himself totally (he's capable but too busy fidgeting most of the time) so I got to eat my dinner while it was still warm.

  • Got home and it was very cool out, so I went around the house closing windows, and even though it wasn't "really" there, I could smell falling leaves and woodsmoke. Autumn, my favorite season, has arrived! I told Mr. MorningGlow to call the firewood guy--it's time.

  • MG Jr. still didn't sleep through the night, and he still ended up in our bed, but he thrashed much less and we all finally got a decent night's sleep.

I do believe we have turned the corner, folks! Thanks to everyone for getting me through the end-of-the-month rough patch!

8. Thanks, IHAD!
:hi:

I hope everyone who had to tough out the August astrological mess is feeling the same kind of relief.

2. Thanks for the good news
Must admit what I am hearing about them throwing out the ballots from 2004 in Ohio has me bummed out, glad to hear good news. Glad things are going along for you in a positive way. Hope what you sense does come true. I want our country back on track. What really bothers me
is that I donated $200.00 for the recount which the State of Ohio admitted was fixed and now
they are going to not only not give us the recount that we paid for, of course-they did shed
a few meaningful GOP tears) but now they are going to destroy them so they will never be counted.

:-)

3. Alas, I can only speak for my personal life
I was INCENSED to hear they're going to destroy the ballots. Sometimes I think the truth will never come out, regarding these stolen elections. Plus the Katrina anniversary hit me where it hurts--DH and I used to go to New Orleans every year--for about five years in a row (before MorningGlow Jr.), and we actually talked about moving there for a while. I love that city with every fiber of my being (feels like home, and according to a tarot reading a while back, it was, several hundred years ago), and my heart broke last year with Katrina and broke all over again with all the reminiscing this year. Add the recent death toll in Iraq and...

I do hope that all the astrology forecasts I read--the ones that said August would be rough but things would get better in the fall--apply to everyone and everything. We NEED some political good news, don't we?

We don't necessarily have to prove down to the last decimal place that
the election was stolen. America saw all those people standing in line
for hours, everybody in America knows somebody that had trouble voting,
or who saw their vote switched, everybody knows what happened with Katrina
and Iraq. The only way Republicans could convince people that it
was not stolen would be to have a credible record which they don't.

6. Oh I do hope you're right!
Sometimes I despair at the godawful ignorance of some Americans--just blissfully unaware of what's going on right under their noses (but they know who won the latest round of American Idol, of course).

Oh well. I try to do my bit, dropping information a bit at a time on unsuspecting sheeple (also one at a time), get them curious, and start yapping. Usually they become stunned and horrified. I hope they come away from our conversations with at least food for thought, if not a changed mind. Heck, I'll even take a questioning mind!

9. I was looking at pics about a prayer meeting for reform in Ohio
there were so many people; I could not count them. People may not be able to give Patrick
Fitzgerald's summary on what laws have been broken. They only know something is really
broke in our system. I think they have made the decision for change.

5. Aw, that is so great to read.
Can't claim I'm in a similar place, but now I am looking forward to possibly finding one soon. (Please, Gods, real soon?)

7. You'll get there soon, too--absolutely
Do you happen to know what you had to learn (or teach) by working at this present place? Every time I figure out what's going on behind the scenes (in a spiritual kind of way), it gives me patience to put up with a bad situation till the mission's accomplished (because, gods know, we sure can't speed up the process--that just makes a mess!)

Also, how did all the astrological messies in August affect your sign? Are you in the same groove--endure August and you'll have a great fall, like us Cappies?
