The media has been dragged in to paint the Democrats as being on a runaway train to loony-ville, nothing new there. Our party is being 'hijacked', don't you know? News to me. I thought I was the party. The good news was that mainline Dems refuse to back an Independent Lieberman run. I don't think he qualifies as Independent. Why doesn't he just put on the grey suit and come out of the closet.

We have to send Joe Lieberman the white light to be a gracious loser now that he lost the primary. Of course all his Republican friends will encourage him to run as an independent. It's a great spoiler for them. Send the light of recognizing humility to him. Convince him to put his country first and his ego last. If he does, it won't be the end of his career. He will get speaking engagements and other venues to become a statesman.

If he runs as an independent he will lose to the Republican as will most likely Lamont (although I really don't think so) and he will never be seen again. We have to send him the light to understand this.
