5. Thank you all but it backfired badly I am afraid, or maybe not

as I don't know what the universe intended. I am even afraid to post this. My doctor refused to treat me. He was given a post I had made on a BB which did not identify him but in which I spoke about his negativity. I imagine someone recognized his location.He said if that was the way I felt, he refused to treat me.I told him that he had upset me and that he had made me cry and I had looked for advice, which was the point of the post. Maybe it is for the best and maybe I was protected.I just don't know. But it is now going to be very difficult for me to get treatment as there is no one else near who does this. But I am going to take this as a good thing.But I am still a bit shaken.I am also taking this as a warning to be careful what I post.

A doctor relating as he did to a personal post of a patient in that manner is a sign, and a very positive one for you. I cannot think of any disease that would be benefit from his bedside manner. I work with doctors all the time and have seen the law of attraction work for them. Even when they might not particularly like a patient, they look for the attraction of healing the disease. And most of them are secure enough that it never enters their minds what the patient might think of them personally. Hang in there. Keep the law of attraction and I know this incident will work for your benefit. Peace to you. (I don't post here often, but lurk a lot. I learn more here than I could ever give.)

7. Thank you. I was feeling really depressed about this. I tend to blame

myself but I went back and looked at the offending post and I wouldn't take a word back.He was so arrogant that I can't even worry that I might have hurt his feelings, which is my normal reaction.If anything the fact that he knows this effects my ability to speak and apparently is offended enough to deprive treatment indicates my feelings were correct.Most doctors I have had would have asked me why I felt that way if they felt I was wrong. They would have tried to work it out and attempted to make the patient comfortable.

think that it is for the best, you have to trust those who treat you.

9. Well, my primary doctor didn't referr him.There isn't anyone to refer.

This was the only guy in my area that treats my condition. Sigh.And he was out of my network and cost a fortune. I may have to go out of state.

15. here's what to do: Google

find who has written clinical papers on what you have, then contact them, usually a large teaching
hospital will have someone that does the procedure, then ask them who to refer closest to your
area, the more they do a procedure the better it is for you. Good Luck!

and go to their website, whether it's physical therapy or whatever you need, there's probably
someone there to advise you. Please don't give up. Keep us posted.

12. I find it to be quite ironic given the enormity of the

internet, that your Doctor learned of your post. That is not to encourage you from using greater discretion in the future.

BINGO !!! That's like. . .their job. The hypocratic oath says, "Do no harm." This Doctor's ego sounds as though it was far too inflated to necessarily be an effective healer for you. At least he recognized it even if he was less than tactful or kind or compassionate in his delivery.

I've no clue of what your throat condition is but I have had some issues with my throat and one thing that invariably lends great relief is gargling with a product which is actually a mouthwash called, "the Natural Dentist." It has goldenseal and echinachea in it. I'm not saying it'll heal whatever your condition is but it may give you some relief until you find a more appropriate practitioner. It costs about 10 bucks and is available at conventional drug stores and baring any allergies certainly couldn't hurt.

I'll hope that you find a more suitable and kind throat specialist who's not too pricey or too far away. Maybe see it as a medical treasure hunt and hope you find the right person and heal up really soon.

They work for you, you know. Not the other way around. You deserve respect. And if he refused treatment I sure hope you don't get charged for the visit.

And I believe you must be right. I felt uncomfortable about this visit and somehow felt this was NOT going to work. In fact, I went aginst my own judgement in going back to see this doctor. But I gave him another chance because he is highly recommended and I had no alternative. And I neede to speak this week. Well, not gonna happen, but maybe I will get better results from somerwhere else. I have to believe this! And it is a much more positve way of dealing with this.
