Astrological question: retrograde to direct
Is there an astrological term for the period when a planet changes from retrograde to direct but is not yet back to the point where it first turned retrograde? Is there a different energy during this time than during either the retrograde time and the normal direct time?

For example, Mercury went retrograde on July 4th and just turned direct today. It won't be back to the point where it first turned retrograde until August 12th. Is there an astrological term for the time between now and August 12th, and is there a different energy from now until August 12 than from August 12th on?

Thanks!

you're welcome :)

eta: the shadow is also in the weeks before the retro when the planet passes the point of direct station for the first time

6. yup it is
It's really about retroactive clarification. It's in essence, a clearing of formally confused issues at least in reference to Mercury.

In other words, picture a cartoon character standing on a cardboard box flalling their hands about going "Wohhhhhhhh" and you pretty much get the idea. Kidding only sorta.

Bare in mind that Mercury retro happens 20% of the time. Though this recent one got me confused about what day or week it was. I'm never like that

"Wohhhhhhhhhh. . ."

But really, people exagerate the significance of Mercury retro. The big deal is to not over schedule stuff, not to put once life on hold.

Contracts and electrical repairs will warrant tweaking over time.

It's totally workable. IMHO
