White light experiment #1, Joe Lieberman.
As I agreed with cassiepriam, I would select an elected official every week for us to send white light to, violet light if you prefer or even prayer if that's what works for you.

I'm selecting Joe this week, because in spite of all his pandering to the Republican right, he still has done some progressive things in his career so I believe he can be made to accept the white light.

The reason I want everyone to concentrate on him is to keep him from being a sore loser in the Connecticut primary. He has threatened to run as an independent if he loses to Lamont, in effect acting as a Ross Perot or Ralph Nader spoiler. This could get the Republican candidate elected and we don't want that.

So send Joe white light to open his mind to the possibility that he could lose the primary. He needs to put his country ahead of his ego to do the right thing and concede gracefully if he loses. He knows what running as an independent could do and he needs to do what is right for his country.

Now, I'm new at this light working, so what I do is envision a globe of white light coming toward me from the light workers in the center of the galaxy. It holds all the inspirations and enlightments that I want to send to another. Then I envision holding it in my hands first and then I lob it to my target. I envision it reaching my target and penetrating him bathing him in its light.

If anyone wants to post how they send light, please post here because as I said I'm a rank amateur. Set aside a little time everyday to send light to Joe for seven days. Let's see what happens.

1. Good point
Edited on Mon Jul-24-06 12:49 PM by rumpel
on Lieberman running as Independent

I am also new to the light sending. What I do is concentrate and ask the universe for positive light energy to stream to me -which I then direct to my target until the target glows and or surrounds the general area - sometimes the planet itself
My vision also travels over the plains the mountains the oceans for healing along the path

:)

on edit - sometimes it takes a while for me to even feel the postive light energy - but it is all my fault -because there is so much chatter in my head
but when I start feeling warm or shall I say somewhat fuzzy around my own energy field - I know it's time to send it on

2. OK, let's try it!
I don't do anything fancy. I just meditate and open my heart chakra
and then send that energy to Joe. Just a picture of him in my head
surrounded by light and energy and ask him to do the right thing.

I also keep the picture in my head and heart and just let it sit there.
It feels like he is in my aura, just hanging there. I do this when not meditating. Any time thru out the day I think of it.

Thoughts and feelings are energy. We create the intent in our hearts and minds. It is then energy that goes out to the universe.

3. I will help with this too
I started yesterday. I think any positive energy he gets can only work for the good of the whole.

4. Interesting. Unlike the Dark One, (*) Lieberman's image in my mind
accepts light around his form quite easily. So maybe there is hope for him. I will keep it up and see what happens.

5. Today is the last day for sending light to Lieberman.
This was in LBN today and may motivate those of us doing this to give him extra light.

7. I spent a while last night thinking about him with positive results.
I think it's interesting that his form takes light without protest (at least in my mind).

8. I guess we didn't try hard enough.
It looks like Joe is determined to run as an independent. I believe this will end his career for good. It will make it that much harder for Lamont to win as well.

9. Don't assume that.
I think if he runs as an indy it could backfire on him.
And if the repugs are funding him it will look very bad.

Keep the faith!

10. He Will Be Visited
By some very high up democrats with the message that he needs to step aside. I wouldn't doubt that they have some carefully selected "dirt" on old Joe to help him make his decision.

He is looking more and more like the sore loser that he is. In fact, he is acting like a Republican. I think about another week of this and he will step aside. Just my two cents and a feeling that I have.

11. Cleita--
you have such a wonderful heart and spirit! Reading this post really made me smile. I've read so many posts on DU from people that are so angry at Joe, and I can certainly understand why. But for you to take that energy and do something so positive with it...wow. Good on you--Thank you for doing this!
