in a group meditiation/prayer/moment/blessing? First we need to pick a date and time to sychronize our efforts. Then we need to decide where/how to direct those efforts. I was thinking of doing something like focusing on an entity, like Congress, and sending a message asking them to look for the truth. Or we could pick a specific individual and focus our energies on giving them strength or support (Sheehan and Fitzgerald come to mind). Is anyone interested in participating in such an endeavor?

particularly the idea of looking for the truth.
The only thing I'm a little iffy about is concentrating on Sheehan. She's a strong powerful woman who gave a direct voice and message. However, focussing our energy on her is not going to give us the most bang for our buck, IMHO. Focusing on Fitzgerald or others who are in a better position to effect changes would be a better use of our energy.

would be a good focus, because it is being decided this month. I'd enjoy sending energy to congress, to keep them strong in their fillibuster, and to send energy for them not to cave in to some sort of weak compromise bill.

I think congress knows the truth. I also think they need to know we aren't playing anymore. They seem to think this is just politics but I for one am dead serious.

I would love to meditate/visualize the truth being revealed without a doubt in the hearts and minds of all our leaders. I think we should do this - this week within a window of time. Say tomorrow (Tuesday) between 6:00 am and 6:00 am the following day (Wednesday), then release it at say 10:00 pm eastern, 9:00 central, 8:00 mountain, 7:00 pacific on Wednesday.

We could visualize a bubble, concentrate the energy into that and at the time we have chosen, release it so that we all get a chance to contribute. We can get our intent behind it and release the energy to its intended source all together.

Just a suggestion so that we can all be included no matter what time zone we're in.

I also think it would be good to post your idea in the two other forums, religion /theology and the ancient wisdom and Pagan spirituality groups. Prayer and or meditation could work together with the beliefs of all of us.

my reiki teacher did that a few weeks ago, and she said it was really powerful. She was in meeting (she's a quaker) and she had a sense of holding Bush's hand suddenly, and showing him that talking to God is a 2 way street. You don't just tell him what you want; sometimes, you have to listen, too. He's been acting a bit different the last few weeks, no?

When I do it, I just have to hold the person/situation in the light and ask for the greatest good to be done. Otherwise, I get very little energy flowing. It's hard, but I'm trying to put my personal dislike of the man aside and just ask that the best for him, us and the country be accomplished. "love thy neighbors" is a hard theory to live by, but it transforms both sides in a remarkable way.

a good idea to meditate on the truth coming to light, since that is quite general, yet inclusive of more specific goals we would like to see. It would be good to send light for an hour, or two hours, rather than all day long. I mean, to synchronize that.

and meditated on sending light around a circle of all of us worldwide, but just focussing on truth coming to light globally, or locally, would be a great idea to me.
Picking a time to do it together is the hardest part - the rest was "magical".....

I have a very flexible work schedule (I work out of the house) so any time of day would be good for me.

Let's start looking at some dates and some times. Once a week, once every two week or once a month? I'm open to all suggestions and I'm overwhelmed at the response. I knew there were a lot of good people here.

On conciousness and reality, for me this is the most difficult aspect of working on myself. The reality we create through our thought every moment needs constant reminder and effort.

But I also do believe if I can not raise my own vibration I will not be able to help anyone, so the work continues.
