Update on JanusAscending

[I Have A Dream]

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from her. She sounds absolutely wonderful! She gave me permission to communicate the following details.

She feels that she's gotten her life back and that her joy and sense of humor have returned. She has been receiving chemotherapy, and, as a result, is losing her hair. However, she's going to get a "new sexy wig" and says that she'll be a new person in her "skinny" clothes and new permanent hair when she is back in full good health. (She said that when hair comes back in after chemotherapy, it's often completely different.) She's going to try to truly "live" more.

She feels that she's been used by the Universe to interact with others who have needed her throughout this ordeal, and she's very much felt the love and energy that we've been sending her. I think that our reaching out to stay connected with her (e.g., the cards, letters, reiki, asking about her, etc.) has really helped her to not feel alone -- that her spiritual family will always be there for her. (Thank you to everyone who initially asked about her situation.)

She said that she does not have Lyme Disease; it was a false positive as her daughter had suspected. She is very happy with the health care institution where she now is. However, her insurance will only pay for a certain period of time, and she suspects that she'll be returning home at the end of the month.

It is wonderful to see how excited she is about life given everything that she's gone through!

(BTW: if you talk to her again...my mom used to work with women who had undergone chemo and she employed a hair stylist who specialized in this area. Sometimes when a woman's hair starts growing back after chemo, it can be darker and really dry and brittle. If that happens, my mom's stylist always recommends shaving the head and then letting the hair grow back again. For some reason, after that the hair is really soft and usually much thicker.)

I will continue to send her my Light and Love so that she can continue on the path to recovery. She has been through a lot and it least she knows why she was under such distress. Hopefully she will be able to join as again soon and we'll throw her a party.
