Okay, ASAH Challenge: Write a few things about the world you'd like to experience...
Doesn't have to be in any fancy format; stream of consciousness is just fine. :hi:

Since I am more down-to-earth with my visions (by some standards), here are some things I choose to create and work toward experiencing in this lifetime. For those uber visionaries not weighed down by any sense of practicality, you have no limits to your dreams!!!

:bounce:

I choose to experience a world which is truly color-blind and gender neutral.

I choose to experience a world in which each and every person is TRULY equal in the eyes of society, and has every opportunity, and a supportive environment, to pursue and succeed in manifesting his/her dreams. A world in which there is truly JUSTICE FOR ALL.

I choose to experience a world in which peace is the norm, and conflict -- small and large scale -- is seen as something to be avoided, via genuine, rational discussion, and healed when it occurs.

I choose to experience a world in which "money" as we know it is no longer the bargaining chip or measure of success.

I choose to experience a world in which healing is an intuitive, supported process, not part of a clinical corporate-based platform that is available to only those who are part of the "system"; a world in which healing of ALL dis-ease can indeed be cured -- for those who choose this path -- for we will be curing the root cause and healing from the core.

I choose to experience a world in which reverence and integrity truly guide all choices and actions and are part of our daily lives.

I choose to experience a world in which Love and Compassion are as essential to our experience as the air we breathe.

I choose to experience a world in which Joy, Gratitude and Vibrancy are the norm; a world which amplifies our energy rather than depletes it, enabling us to support those struggling, if they so choose to be supported.

I choose to experience a world in which our intuition is clear as a bell.

I choose to experience a world in which Mother Earth is no longer suffering and is rebounding from the harm previously inflicted, thriving with new life...as are all of her children.

And you? :hi:

1. I want to experience:
A world where it is a given that human rights trumps religious rights in all cases.

A world where fear is not promoted.

A world where all living things are sacred.

2. I choose a world of freedom
Free access
Free internets
Free exchange of information
Freedom of movement
Freedom from hunger
Free education
Freedom to be who you are, no worries -- let your freak flag fly! All accepted and appreciated.

You don't have to have money to have worth in my new world.
Integrity and honesty is more important. Creativity is fostered, treasured. Ingenuity and inventiveness is nurtured not punished.

No wars. No need for military bases. Our military has been transformed into peace and permaculture corps. Building wells, aquifers, berms, solar arrays, geothermal facilities, rebuilding mountains defaced by the coal industry. Weatherizing and rebuilding our inner cities, water mains, bridges, roads, tunnels. There is also a Human Corp to help care for disabled, elderly and chronically ill-- transporting people to dialysis centers, doctor appts., therapies etc.; helping sick animals; going to areas of environmental damage and repairing it, reviving the tide pools of the
Gulf, cleaning up the polluted lakes, growing the mushroom and algae farms needed to purify the water and land of the poisons in it. Basically a Corps that does real service in helping the lives of their countrymen, not in securing resources for corporations by threatening indigenous and foreign peoples with bullets.

that's what is in my head now.

4. I choose 'EASE'
I choose a life where my worth is determined by the hearts i touch and the things i teach about energy and honoring nature

I choose a world where my kids have no concept of fear or injustice

**I choose a world where medicine is natural and energy work is just as effective in healing as any scary procedure. I choose a world where healing is effortless and the ways of current allopathic medicine (and all it's intrusive procedures)is a thing of the past
I choose a world where our bodies cease to hold our issues in our tissues...
where healing can be instantaneous, even with the most 'chronic' of deseases.**

I choose more neoghborhood communities
I choose food to be locally grown and offered as an energetic as well as a physical nutrient
I choose love to be ever present in us ALL

I choose the release of fear based entities, and that the effort once used to create methods of war are used to create better lives for people.
I choose for money to be a thing of the past, and barter-trade and generosity to rule our commerce

Most of all i choose to be at peace with mySelf, therefore bringing the love and joy and harmony outward to others indefinitely...

6. I've thought about this
I wanted to condense it down to one thing. Here it is--I would love for everyone in the world to know and embrace their authentic selves.

8. Perfect.

If each person did this, it would indeed be a much different world, in all ways we desire.

7. In re-reading and re-thinking this thread today, it came to me to share this...

This, the Five-Point Agenda, is a document I helped to create with some friends (we were the DRC mentioned below) in collaboration with Starhawk 15 years ago. It seems to fit with what is being discussed here, and felt right to share. Here is a simplified version of it:

The Five-Point Agenda — The DreamRoads Collective, Starhawk – 1995

Sacred Values: Peace, Community, Family — For us, the sacred is embodied in the living systems of the earth and the human community. We see all things as interconnected and interrelated, and these values inform all our political stands. We support alliances across the barriers of difference, while recognizing that political decisions arise out of what we most value.

Diversity — We embrace diversity as integral to our country’s strength and central to our common heritage. We understand the vital importance of biological diversity. We support education that includes many viewpoints and heritages and teaches respect for differences. And equal access to resources and decision-making power for all.

Self-Determination — We stand for the right of all people to have a voice in decisions that affect them, the right of individuals to make free and informed choices regarding their bodies, their sexuality, their powers of reproduction, and their manner of life.

Environment — We affirm that the interconnected life-systems of the earth have a right to be and an inherent value that goes beyond their usefulness for human ends.

Human Needs and Social Justice — Human beings have a right to those things that make possible a fulfilling life. Rather than protect the privilege of the few, government has the responsibility to assure that each person has access to the means and opportunities to pursue their own view of happiness.

If you'd like to read the whole thing, it's located HERE.

Blessings
SG

14. No, the DRC fell apart many years ago.
I'm glad there was still some relevance to the 5-point agenda, though.

10. I choose a world where everyone's basic needs are met
and there is abundance for all. I choose a world that is filled with love, divine purpose and free from hatred and fear. I choose a world where people revere their Mother Earth and all the various life forms that inhabit her body. I choose a world where people take responsibility for themselves as well as their fellow beings.

And so it is.........

12. I always imagine a world ...
where love for one another and the meaning of oneness is not only realized, but our way of life; where we truly look out after the weakest among us and actually pull them up to be as one with me.

This world is peaceful and cheerful always, where everyone feels and reacts as children with their playful imaginations, lust for learnings and the unknown, as well as their sharing their infectious laughter and dance.

This world doesn't think about winning, rising above others and proving to be better than others. They appreciate other's strengths without feeling inferior. Again, oneness is a way of life.

This world focuses on the importance of life. It appreciates all life and respects it as it should be respected. It never puts possessions ahead of anyone.

Thank you for sharing the world you imagine.

What a wonderful world that would indeed be. :)

BTW, I read elsewhere about you feeling isolated and disconnected. I've often felt that way; I find when I feel that most acutely and am most aware of it, a personal breakthrough is just around the corner. An "aha" moment, if you will.

15. I have thought about this "challenge"
for days now.

I choose a world where everyone has all that they need, and then some.

I choose a world with no war.

I choose a world with no poverty/homelessness/lack.

I choose a world where we all get along.

I choose a world where I have good brakes/tires for my vehicle...OH, and teeth. ( sorry...had to add some levity.)

I choose a world where parents/children/families/friends get over their differences and heal.

I choose a world with open government, a gentle, kind government.

Jenn

18. I want us to respect nature.
When I was a cave tour guide, we asked the people on the tour to not touch anything. We were to leave the cave in the same pristine condition that it was when we entered. I wish we had the same respect for our oceans, forests and other wilderness areas in this world. I also wish we would return areas that have been devastated back to nature as close as we can.
