Another lost kitty thread.
Can I beg some help finding a lost kitty? My mom's cat Fairchild, who is a long haired, solid white cat with one blue eye and one gold eye, has gone missing. She is beside herself with worry, because he is strictly an indoor cat, and if he somehow got out of the house, he may not know what to do and freak out. We haven't seen him since Saturday morning.

Anyone getting any hits on where he might be? Is it possible he's hiding in the house somewhere? I've turned her house upside down looking for him, but could have missed him.

Thank you all so much. This is her baby, and I hate to see this happening to her. She's 79 and in the early stages of alzheimer's, and Fairchild keeps her aware of what's going on.

1. Kookaburra, I'm not at all psychic...
but something popped into my mind so I thought that I'd better mention it, just in case...

Is there a stream or something similar close to where your mother lives? Something similar to that popped into my head twice. Please take it with a grain of salt though.

I'm so sorry that this is happening. :( I can understand your mother's anguish and your sadness that this is happening to her and her beloved friend. Much love and light to you all. I'm asking the Universe to keep Fairchild safe until he returns home.

5. I think you said it best "LOST"
I think since your baby hasn't spent time outside Fairchild is lost and wants to find his way back home, but he is scared. Keep calling out for him, and surround him with a protective light until he finds his way back home. I think he will be alright once he knows everyone is looking for him and protecting him from harms way.

I will also send a white light bubble around him so he has extra kitty power and returns home soon.

Keep us posted, Kookaburra

9. I hope he's found shelter
It's supposed to rain all night tonight and all day tomorrow. I went around her neighborhood today and told a bunch of her neighbors that he was missing and asked them to keep a watch for him. No one had seen him, but they said they'd let me know if they did.

6. Thanks for your help everyone
Here's a picture of him, if that helps. I think I'm too close to this to find him. Usually, I'm very good at finding lost animals, but this time I'm not picking up much.

16. What a precious kitty. And such a rarity to see one blue eye
and one gold eye. I have a precious kitty also..and feel the pain and pray for her kittys return. I had a friend whose cat got shut in a closet for several days and didn't
seem to be a meower...he just opened the door one day and found her. Is he a vocal kitty? If not check all crooks and cranies, under the car, washer dryer....I'm just
taking swipes at anything...and best of luck to you!!!!

7. Does your mom's house have an attic? Could he have gone
up there? Or a garage? Or a crawl space underneath? I don't really have any hits, just suggestions. Asking the Universe to help Fairchild find his way home safely. Poor fellow.

8. She has an attic
but it has one of those drop down entrances so there's no way he could have gotten up there unless someone opened it. The same with the basement. The entrance is on the outside of the house, and that door stays locked all the time. I looked in the utility room, but didn't see him in there either. No garage. If he's in or around that house, he's hiding pretty well.

Thanks for sending out the good vibes to the Universe to get him home.

10. Sending good vibes for Fairchild to be found safe & sound soon!!

If he's in the house, I'll chalk that up as further proof cats can travel to a different dimension. I often had an indoor-only cat disappear, drive me out of my mind with worry, only to nonchalantly jump on the sofa after hours of being MIA.

11. Thanks WolverineDG
A friend of mine who is fairly intuitive says she senses him still in the house, hiding out, and he'll show himself eventually. I don't know. Maybe he has traveled into a parallel dimension or something.

17. We found him
Or rather one of the men who works for the town found him when he was out inspecting one of the drainage areas behind Mom's neighborhood. He called me and told me Fairchild was hiding in a drainage pipe and he wouldn't come out(word gets around quickly in small towns, let me tell you). I went over there and sat on a rock beside the pipe -- called his name a few times, and he came right to me. Not even dirty, except for his feet.

Thank you all so much for your kind words, and encouragement for Fairchild to come home. My mother was so happy she cried when I brought him in the house.

20. Thank heavens. I know you and your Mom are so relieved.
You must live in a wonderful town. IHAD, you nailed it. It wasn't a stream, but something like it! A drainage area.

I love happy endings...'sniff' (wipes eyes), especially lost kitty threads.

22. Yes IHAD pegged it
I knew my ASAH friends would be able to help. And yes, my mother lives in a small close-knit town. I was raised there, and still love it very much, even though I now live outside the city limits.

27. He's such a rascal
He went straight to my brother's old bedroom, parked himself on the bed, and refused to budge the rest of the night.

Cats!
