OK things are getting freaky!
Last night I was lurking here, and re reading some stuff. I came across something someone wrote about John Ritter's son being cast in the EVENT, and I thought "gee I didn't realize that it was his son, but that he does look a lot like him." My very next thought was of Johnny Cash, who we lost the same day or week that we lost John Ritter, and I wondered to myself what side of the political aisle he was on, 'til I recalled some of his music, and his stand on the Viet Nam war. Two great souls were lost that week. Now I open DU tonight, and see on the greatest page an article regarding him, and what his daughter said about his feelings about the war just before he died!!!! I was instantly reminded of my Dad's question while in Hospice just two days before he passed. They were doing the Fla. recount, with the hanging chads while he was in the nursing home, and came home and was glued to the TV, hoping and praying that Al Gore would win it! Once he found out Bush "won", he went down hill really fast. One of his dying questions, even before the Iraq war (before 9/11) was "are we at War yet?" All of this synchronicity is getting too much for me. It seems ...I think it...it happens! Now if I could just do that with a car , some money, and my legs back, wouldn't it be great?!!

1. that's interesting
You didn't happen to think of Eddie Fisher, did you? I had a discussion about Eddie Fisher, Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds, and Richard Burton today. I had to get my daughter up to date on the gossip of the fifties and sixties.

Sounds like you have some synchronicity going. Just relax into it. You never know what will happen next.

Interesting story about your dad.

4. Yes, I heard about Eddie while on line before.
All the best from my era (50's) are leaving us! There is a story about my Mom and Eddie. While she was in the nursing home with Alzheimers, she was at the point where she had to be kept in bed, to prevent falls, and was no longer very vocal. I was visiting with her one day and tried to get her to talk without much success. They had music playing over the speakers down the hall in the day room. Eddie was singing "Oh my Papa". As soon as he finished singing that line, at the top of her lungs, for all in the halls to hear, spills from my Mother's lips "to me he was so wonderful" in tune and in time!!! Visitors and staff all came into the room and thought I had sung it and were quite shocked to find it came from her.I think that may have been the last words I ever heard her say??!!

2. I agree.
This is the time to relax into it when you notice an uptick in coincidences. For me, when I can remember, it's time to manifest without too much emotional attachment for what you need because you're more aligned/in-tune. I always seem to remember though when I want a good parking spot :)

3. Yeah, stuff like that used to happen to me all the time...
when I had a life! If it wasn't for you guys I would fell like I'm in total isolation. I feel so sorry for my poor companion and homemaker. I talk her ear off the whole time she's here two days a week. My voice is usually gone by the time her 3 hrs. are up!

7. Oh, stuff like that still happens
otherwise we wouldn't have this thread reminding us of subtle messages and awareness. So easy to dismiss on a day to day basis.
I bet your homemaker does not mind listening. I'm sure she understands the need to share and the need to be heard. She's a blessing

9. So true Blue
We get so wrapped up in our daily insanity that we don't even notice the divine when it's sitting right on our heads. It's getting better though.
