I need to get outta here...
after feeling the icky of the past few days, I'm packing a backpack, lunch and my journal, taking the kids and gooing to find a stream to sit by and listen to.

perhaps dragonfly will have some answers?
hoping SOMETHING can break me out of this

i want to cry & don't know why
got sick to my stomach at 4am
had the headache and nausea for 2 days
dizzyness

and yet it is so fleeting and comes & goes, I know i'm not "sick" per se
even my little guy had a fever yesterday, but is fine today

go figure.

so I am deciding that a good dose of SUNSHINE & Summer Breeze will heal us :)

wish us luck!

1. Same here! (Are you surprised?)
I want to get out but I have a story to write--grf--I wanted to go down to the river, in the gorge, and look for holey stones. Perhaps during the week. But at least Mr. MG spirited MG Jr. away for the afternoon so I can concentrate.

But what I meant was regarding the ickies--I had a similar problem. My mom started with it. She was fine in the morning, then started to feel nauseated around lunchtime. Got cold, then hot (assuming a low fever), then after a couple of trips to the bathroom...she was fine. Yesterday I was perfectly okay, and then suddenly in midafternoon I started to feel ooky, got cold then hot, then spent the rest of the day and evening with abdominal pangs like I was dehydrated. Weird thing was I was hungry and could eat fine while all this was going on. WEIRD--I find it very hard to believe that I could have picked it up from her after spending mere minutes in her house on Thursday.

What the heck WAS that? :wtf:

Anyway, say hey to the dragonflies for me! Really got to get out to the river within the next few days...feeling the pull...

2. I will!
...hey, when you take a lunch break, just go out and sit on your grass or something to try and touch the earth. It could help.

ya, i felt fine and had dinner etc..the sweats are what woke me up, and then the abdominal pain, and I thought it would be a 'lower GI' issue, puking totally caught me by surprise. then i took a shower, went back to bed and am drinking coffee & fine this morning... weird.

either it's a vuirus that happens to be on both sides of the country, or the earth/planetary energy is just off the hook!

either way, the whole mars "kick in the ass" is no doubt the pull we are feeling... can't fight the need for nature time! ;)

:hugs: I'll let you know what comes through, haven;t journaled 'in the wild' for some time now...

'the power of light'

holy wow! :surprised:

all of it rings true...if you don't have a copy, I'll just have to scan the pages!

"...their realm is the realm of light...summer is their most powerful time... Spending time outside in the sun near fresh water will be beneficial for restoring & changing health conditions..."

19. I know--it was pretty sudden and totally awful
Did you ever meet him? I never did but I "talked" with him via e-mail (I edited his magazine column a couple of times)--he was so nice and helpful. Even as busy as he was, he always gave me lots of extra information whenever I needed it, to clarify things.

21. No I never had the pleasure of meeting or even talking
to Ted Andrews.
But he was very influential in my psychic development.Particularly when I was just a beginner his books on Guides,Animal guides and how the universe speaks to you through nature and the animals. And his book on how to see and read auras was pivotal for me.
I read that last before i became a reiki and healing touch practitioner and it probably had alot to do with the fact that i became one. GAWD I'm really gonna miss his presence on the planet.
I'm so bummed.

Wow MorningGlow, You edited for him? Cudos to You. i'm most impressed.

5. That's a good idea
...as long as I don't start getting the urge to mow it! (It's overdue.)

I really gotta wonder about that illness. It's a tossup in my mind--could be a virus, could be the energy. I honestly don't know. It sure was strange.

Waiting with bated breath for a post-nature report! Think of me slaving away in order to put food on my family. :hi:

11. I just remembered something.
Last weekend, my husband and I were in the parking lot of a mall walking towards the entrance when this beautiful huge iridescent insect landed on me. I can't handle insects and started swinging away at it with my purse. So he says leave it alone, it's a scarab - it's trying to give you good luck. But I was near hysteria and no matter how wide I swung it wouldn't stop bugging me :) pun intended.

I just looked up the meaning of the scarab and found:
Scarabs were also symbolic of resurrection. This too was directly linked with the rising of the Sun. In fact, since the scarab was spiritually connected with the Sun-rise, it became closely associated with the Egyptian deity Khepri–'god of the rising Sun.' In every aspect, scarabs and Egyptian Solar worship were inseparable."

So I'm sending you my scarab because it is a coincidence you feel the need to be in sunshine and from the book "Egyptian Magic," "…the scarab or beetle itself possesses remarkable powers, and if a figure of the scarab be made, not only protection of the dead physical heart, but also new life and existence will be given to him to whose body it is attached.

On our drive home, I couldn't believe it when another one flew into the car and landed on me. Of course, I lost my mind and almost caused an accident. My husband begged me to keep still because I couldn't see it. And then I saw it crawling up my leg and when it reached my knee, it just stopped and looked at me and then flew out the window.Whew! Anyway, I've had good luck this week and feel renewed and sending the symbol of the same to you, FL!

25. Good for you!
And don't get hold of them...just let them come up and name them, don't act upon them or against them. Surrender is key; I'm of course not the only one here recommending this. May your journey always be guided and peaceful...

here's the drive, in chronoligical order, we found a perfect campsite (which i intend to take us camping at next week, with a stream and a swimmin hole, plenty of dragonflies and butterlfies... ahhhh

still processing the messages and just trying to hang on to the peace of sitting in the sun and listening to nothing but the water rushing over the rocks and the wind in the pines...
