Many of you may have wondered why this "rebirth" isn't hitting you and what's coming next...
Edited on Wed Jun-16-10 09:54 PM by ricochetastroman
Many of you have wondered "why" you're not seeing this rebirth from Jupiter and Uranus in Aries. It's there. It IS happening.

It is being GREATLY foreshadowed by the huge Cardinal Tsquare with Pluto in Capricorn square to Saturn in Libra and Jupiter and Uranus in Aries. It's being upstaged. Especially now because as the SUN enters Aries in about 4-10 days, it will form a GRAND CROSS with the Tsquare. It starts on June 21. This is why the oil-splat is hitting the fan in the gulf and is casting a pall over most of us. Saturn (the Gov't) is being forced to (Uranus/Jupiter in Aries) to stand up to BP (Pluto.) It's the symbolic performance of the Tsquare playing out in our environment.

What is true above is below It's what happening inside of us too (the oil spill)

I have seen clear evidence of the new rebirth with many people I know and my clients. It's there, it's hard to see. It's a FEELING OF BEING READY. That's the best way I can put it.

It will manifest; it doesn't all happen in one month - Uranus will be in Aries for 7 years.

Keep the faith. Times are hard (Saturn/Pluto)
We'll all get through it.

1. thanks Rick
a little clarity and comfort goes a long way these days!

So it would make sense that my desire for moving forward is also being forshadowed by my own issues related to capricorn/pluto?
I can *so* get that...but the feeling of being 'in a rut' is really draggy and thick right now...

so will things be releasing by the summer solstice or are we just "in the thick of things" for a while yet?

4. I'll share more specifics with this family soon....

but I'm glad I saw this, Rick. It gives me a spot to share my recent experiences and feelings. :)

I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting bombarded via email from both spiritualists (sorry, for lack of a better term...new ager, woo-woo, it's all the same to me and said with love and respect- :)), as well as thumpers (honestly, not really said with much love, nor respect), all fear, fear, fear and doom and gloom.

There is a lot to be fearful about, and the situation is beyond HORRIBLE, with so much death and destruction due to human greed, but I don't see how the fear-mongering helps anything. I personally don't. I think fear can trigger action and move one out of apathy, but to stay in a fear space serves no positive purpose in my view.

I think there is perhaps a fine line between staying aware and being immersed in fear, and it's a line that's so hard for many of us not to cross.

We do cross it at our own peril, IMHO.

I don't think we have to keep our heads in the sand at all; but we can use what we've been working toward all our lives in this moment to be aware yet FOCUS ON WHAT WE CHOOSE TO CREATE, not necessarily what is right in front of us. What is right in front of us -- all the horror and suffering and grief -- can be used to show us what we don't want to experience any more and spur us into action (as well as "subtle activism" see Katty's post) to create anew. Not ignoring it...having compassion for and about the situation and even DOING things to affect change...but not allowing the fear and darkness to win.

Like many of you, I've been mired in myriad crises of late. They're not MY crises, per se, but they're most definitely affecting me. In the midst of it, I've been almost obsessed with projects; it's as though these projects, which help me FOCUS ON WHAT I CHOOSE TO CREATE, are preserving my sanity and propelling me forward. Immersing myself in what I choose to create, and doing so in a way which enables me -- in my own small way -- to contribute to a better world, is my obsession right now. That's not a very good word but it actually feels rather fitting. It feels as though it's out of my hands in many ways...I'm compelled to DO THIS NOW.

And the phrase THE URGENCY OF NOW has been getting louder and louder.

I believe we can, through our own passions and interests and way of BEING, affect change in our own microcosm of the world, and hopefully this will radiate to others' until we manifest noticeable change as a Whole.

If you click the link in my sig line, you'll see a portion of what I'm creating. :hi:

As always, thanks for the encouragement and information, Rick!

Edited on Thu Jun-17-10 08:20 AM by get the red out
I am right with you on the doom and gloom. I'm a depressive personality and even I can't stand that. My thought is that for many there is an emotional pay-off in dooming it up as much as possible, there isn't for me so I can't go there. Indeed just the opposite. When I get into doom I start obsessing that evil will use current disasters in order to take power completely then I wonder if I want to even live in THAT world that our ignorance would allow them to create. But we aren't there yet and I don't need to be buying a ticket - thank you for the offer doom and gloom set!

Thanks for the link to your beautiful site, do you mind if I put the link on my FB page? We need positive ideas right now, and positive thinking that can actually change people from the inside, change our actions. Our mindset as a people needs a huge overhaul right now, I keep feeling like some of the current troubles are meant to throw it in our faces and give us a reason to change, maybe now is when people will start grabbing after ideas, like you have been working on with "Wishadoo". We keep getting nudges to change and the more we ignore it, the worse the consequences like the Universe is saying "see, you haven't listened before, ready now?"

I love reading Ricks explanations of what's going on Astrologically, I need that. Everything seems such a huge mess right now, I need something to make sense of it. I have been getting into some depression again, and that is my deal to come out of denial with and really face. It is time I stop allowing myself to go through hell needlessly as well. All at once I'm willing to actually face it and move toward some solution instead of hiding it in a corner acting as if I'm just fine. I don't know what that means.

As I always say, this human thing is so friggin hard!!! ;)

It really is, especially if we are sensitive and aware and want to help.

I'm going to be announcing several things next week, at which point I would be so grateful for you to blast a few things anywhere and everywhere. I'll definitely let you know. :)

(pssst....btw, I do have a favor I'd love to ask of others, but am hesitant to post in it's own OP...lol. If anyone stumbles upon this particular post and is inclined to do so, I'm grateful. :)

Since I'm so immersed in book promotion right now, you may have seen that I created something called HOOKED ON THE BOOK to jumpstart the Community Philanthropy idea I've been working toward for 15 years...The Piece Process. Through a FEMA friend, I found a great grassroots organization in LA to partner with, to raise funds for them.

Even though I haven't officially launched this yet (so much to do!), a cool opportunity presented itself via a connection made ages ago. The Obeah video was entered into a short film contest, and is a sponsor for the Topanga Film Festival. The Piece Process will be a sponsor, too; in fact, I may be coordinating film entries from the Louisiana area and am thinking about doing a shoutout on DU for LA independent filmmakers, especially those working on documenting this crisis. I may be doing a lot of shoutouts on DU soon, if I can get up the courage; it's so easy to be picked apart and attacked, even if the intentions are genuinely good.

ANYWAY (geesh, I'm rambling this morning, but I know you're a rambler, too ;)), if anyone could vote for the Obeah video HERE, I'd really appreciate it! (It's easy: just create a username, give email; they send password and you simply click on a star (1 through 5) to rate the video, with the stars found under the title of the video.

Thanks! :)

6. Can totally relate
Case in point for the gloom/doom/mass hysteria: my crazy, messed up family.

I'm FB friends with my cousin who posts weekly about a "Concealed Carry Class" being held at his fundie baptist church. Now, granted I haven't seen him very much in a long time, but when we were kids/teenagers he was one of the kindest, gentlest people I've ever known. He married a woman whose father was a fundie preacher of the jack-leg variety, but she didn't have that energy around her at all, and to meet them on the street you'd think they were just a sweet little couple. So it completely blew my mind that they were sponsoring this stupid class.

Anyway, after about the 6th or 7th post about said class, I finally posted back "...because nothing says Prince of Peace like a loaded revolver in your purse...". Haven't heard from either of them since.

Absolutely! Disquiet at personal and national irresponsibility is increasing as predicted. As are the possibilities to unify in the desire and work for positive change.

The possibilities are wonderful. The process is uncertain and difficult. The need is absolute.

7. So when the Sun enters Aries
will that help get things moving? Because, I must say I'm not feeling yet either -- still feel stuck. I've done the releasing work -- releasing my old fears and hang ups that no longer serve me -- but I still haven't witnessed any movement, and it's not for lack of trying. The harder I push the tighter the door shuts.

16. Relax, think of it as passing a kidney stone
I know it stinks, but that's the best analogy I could find. I will hurt. And think of the relief after it's gone.
It will pass and the rebirth is just beneath the surface for those of you who haven't seen it. As I said, it is NOT a panacea.

It will not be "great" for everyone. It's what we make of it. I know that stinks too. Best of luck. "hi"

17. I JUST logged on to see if anyone else was feeling stuck...
and of course, as usual everyone is feeling the same as I am. I just got off the phone with one of my healer friends and we were just discussing how things feel stuck, still, stationary...and how weird the energy feels right now. Her phone is not ringing with clients, which is odd. Another healer friend, very well known and usually in demand, says his phone isn't ringing either.

For a couple of days I've been feeling "strange" like something is just "off"...the only way I can describe it. Now I know it's not just me which is comforting. I too was so looking forward to Uranus moving into Aries, and then Jupiter's arrival on June 6th. But so far, it hasn't felt good. I also feel like I have processed and processed over and over and feel like I should be done by now. A wise healer friend said something last week that resonates with me. To quote her, "Sometimes when we feel unpleasant stuff, it doesn't mean it's something new coming in, it can very well be the old that's leaving".

Another thing I heard recently that resonates is that it's difficult to prepare for anything because we're being "asked" to be present, not prepare for the future, just to be...I know I've been having trouble getting excited about anything new to teach and the thought of preparing for something seems overwhelming and I have no motivation...maybe because time is supposedly being compressed, we're not supposed to plan and prepare and we're kind of going against what we are supposed to be evolving to...who knows...I just hope things start moving forward soon!!

by the existing tension from Saturn square to Pluto. No picnic.
They are both going on at the same time. Be patient and they (Uranus/Jupiter) will rear their wild faces soon enough. It won't happen during the next week though. :hi:

19. This is probably a silly, or redundant, question...

I realize we're all unique and our charts are guides (we have free will and all that good stuff :)), but those around me have expressed what findrskeep just wrote above: an incredible feeling of stuckness.

I wonder if it's those who are accustomed to forward movement and manifestation who feel this stuckness now? Is it indeed perhaps something astrologically -- something in certain charts who are experiencing stuckeness versus movement more right now?

I ask that because, I have felt stuck for 15 years, and only now am I feeling forward movement and freedom.

Yet everyone else is feeling stuck?

I usually tend to feel what others do...that empath thing...so this is a unique experience for me.

What say you, Yoda-Rick?

I say if you look closely over the last 15 years, you merely haven't been READY. Thus, you held on to old, KNOWN patterns.
Take a good honest Virgo look see and see what you find.
The Uranus in Aries means, as I've been saying, that you are NOW READY. Juxtaposed to such a long time, it makes it SEEM like you've even more stuck.

That's because the unconscious is scared shitless that you're actually going to do it; i.e., let go. Ego trix :hi:

39. Remember
these planets in Aries are far secondary to the MESS that's going on with Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Libra.
They will all be agitated by the trigger known as the Sun over the next week. You have a very powerful Saturn in your natal chart as do I.

Then it will break apart.

Even though we're letting go; there still can be subtle areas where we're holding on.

I'm sure it will break forward for you dearest.... :hi:

there is no way to get a pleasant feeling from these two austeres no matter what. Contrasting the Uranus/Jupiter/Aries energy, it's very grave (like the spill).

34. It's not that things are stuck
It's the massive build-up of energy with Saturn square Pluto and the egging on by Uranus and Jupiter. NOW, we have the SUn getting involved over the next week.

It's that we're being required (urged from within our very own selves to LET GO). So, we hold on, and call it stuck.

I know that seems oversimplified, but that, in my best opinion, is what is happening. This is why many of my clients who ARE letting go are getting phenomenal results!

Don't panic, this doesn't have to be done this month; it can be a gradual process for months to come. But, the sooner we let go, the sooner we are free! This has nothing to do with others, it's all about us.

Examine closely and see/know what needs to be let go of. :hi:

A couple of days ago I started feeling completely uncomfortable in my own skin. It was ridiculous. I was jumpy, irritable, unsettled. 21. To those Watching, it is obvious, at least in regard to BP.
They have been worming around attempting to protect themselves and not reveal the dimensions of the disaster (until they had to), then etc. etc. etc. They know they are in deep trouble and are still not being responsible for it. Obama is wisely using this as the basis for new regulation and legal responsibilities mirroring reality, first with BP and hopefully soon, on other Korporations.

Change is happening, before our very eyes. And as Rick says, inside ourselves in proportion and in a literal fashion. Thanks Rick! Well said as always.

24. Stand up to BP?
Even as the tar balls hit Gulf beaches, their tax dollars are subsidizing BP and so far, President Obama has not shown the slightest indication that he plans to stop their flow into BP coffers, despite the recent call of Public Citizen, a watchdog group, to end the nation’s business dealings with company. In fact, the Department of Defense, which has a longstanding, multi-billion dollar business relationship with BP, tells TomDispatch that it has no plans to sever current business ties or curtail future contracts with the oil giant.

This isn't like the Jupiter & Uranus in Aries thing, where it hits a certain house for each individual...this is more of a collective vibration, right?

But is this also active on the individual level with our respective charts because of the square effects?

32. This has been an amazing transit for me, I've reinvented myself
shed the past, grown anew. Blossomed. Last fall was terribly painful for me. This Spring has been a blast, since April 15th, and it continues to get better everyday. :D

A new name to match the NEW ME. :D I am not saying that this spring has not been fraught with some anxious periods, but I feel truly deep down that there is a purpose now, and I am headed in the right direction.

51. Yours is all about self-control
The "planets" want you to stop trying to make sure about everything. Your free Aquarian nature isn't released because your Saturn is so strong on the Ascendant. Meaning: You're ready (transiting Uranus) to stop controlling and start to let flow your life.

The chart tells me, "Open the gates and tell the sentries to get lost."

53. Thanks, Ric, but. . .
'stranged husb is controller/sociopath. Life was flowing beautifully until he started pulling strings again. Depression was GONE when I recognized sociopath-ness, but back now that he's actively playing games, with me and children He's still controlling pursestrings, and fabricating stories for lawyers/court. ;(

40. It's both
The Pluto is very much collective yes, but is THE MAIN PART OF EACH OF OUR CHARTS that needs transcended. It's the story behind all the stories for the next 14 years.

The square is personal and collective both. They've been covered in detail in my newsletters over the past year and are available for reading.

42. So, like, whaddup with material changes in my personal life?
I mean, I have been changing, but in material ways. Always hated my cell phone; got a new one I like better (with a $50 rebate!) Laptop died; got a new one I like better. Had my hair straightened and I like it a WHOLE LOT better than my wild fuzz. I've lost about 15 lbs. (so far), and YES I LIKE THAT A WHOLE LOT. And now my car is dying and I'm getting a new-to-me one that is a whole lot better. (I will miss my Jeep, but I won't miss the bum transmission.)

Can this transit do that, or is it more about the big picture/deeper stuff?

43. It's all those things.
This is happening on all levels. The best I can say is to study basic astrology and get familiar with the keywords per sign and per planet. The "art" is blending it all and knowing when something is more important than another. That can only come with time.

I'm seeing the rebirth happen on many levels. It's very personal. Mainly, it's feeling of READINESS; "I'm going to be myself now, no matter what." type of thing.

Good luck with it all :hi:

45. I'm seeing it in little glimpses here and there
my path is illuminated just under my feet...and down the road. It's the middle...how you get to the light way down the road...that remains murky.

But I find as long as I stay focussed on the present, on what's under my feet RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW, it all works out.

And last evening and this morning, the light down the road gave me a clear image of where I belong and want to be when this particular part of the journey is over. When Pluto has moved out of my 4th and into my 5th house, if not sooner, I think I'll be living among the Maya in central or south America. Possibly Ecuador, possbly Guatemala, or on the other coast, possibly Uruguay...

10 years ago, at the exact moment of a particularly potent solar eclipse, I was in Cozumel, sitting in the "offertory bowl" at the temple of Ix Chel giving myself over to Ix Chel.

Suddenly, the path of the last 10 years to today is making some sense to me.

52. Wanting to 'cash in my chips' and go live
Edited on Sun Jun-20-10 12:16 PM by FirstLight
off the grid, away from commerce, money, employment numbers, grocery stores, gas stations, etc...intentional community, tribal land, whatever... just no more capitalism and petrol comsumption for me.

Not that I don;t want to "try to succeed" in the regular white man world of journalism or commerce. Not that I feel like it's futile anyway because I will always end up needing some kind of assistance as a single mom with NO savings or job...

I just feel done with this world, I want to be "away from the things of man"

Is this part of that saturn pluto energy or am I just freaking out from all the negative news and the destruction of our planet...?

since I met my ex?
Oddly the next hearing is on the 21st - tonight US time - Since the last hearing and my related frustration I have stopped "living and breathing" the case. I let go. It is still important to conclude, but I completely feel different about it.
Moving on!

Edited on Tue Jun-22-10 05:52 AM by PhillyGurl
can't ever go back to that, don't even want to. Could the relationship change and be new? I can't answer that question yet. We are content just being close friends and confidantes. I am open, for the first time in decades to allowing new people and new energy into my life, hurt be damned. You can't wall yourself off from life's experiences.

I face challenges now with the wind in my hair and a smile on my face, and shed a few tears now and then. It's all good, meant to be, fated and I am alright with it.

BTW, Ric said during my reading that Uranus is transiting my 7th house and Pluto is activating my 4th? Lots of changes on the home and relationship front.

59. Glinda
you can't have many planets in Pluto because Pluto is a planet.

Pluto rules the underworld and it is in Capricorn. Capricorn rules the structure of the earth. Pluto rules eruptions especially of
pent up energies. Pluto forces toxins to the surface like with a human i.e., cancer, bile, boils, blackheads, cysts, etc.

Pluto does this in order to purify. It's not here to ruin us. We've already done a pretty good job of that. It's here to expose and exorcise the corruption/illness. :hi:

60. I actually meant I have Pluto all over in my chart. Sorry. Yes, I have
always seen Pluto as a purifier. I think I was thrown off by the way Pluto was presented in the original post.
Got a lot on my mind these days......

61. It's so hard to communicate in posts
Pluto in Capricorn represents a period of 16 years that started in 2008. As it changes signs, which it did in Jan. 08, it takes on the tone of the sign that it now resides in: Capricorn.

The job of Pluto is to find and test weakness, get rid of weakness and replace it (death and rebirth) with strength. It has nothing to do with anyone's birth chart. It's there for everyone now.

If, however, you have strong influence from Pluto or Scorpio (the sign it rules) in your chart, it both stirs up the natal planet's "promise" and in many cases just blows by since the native is used to Plutonian archetypal energies.

As with all the planets, it's actually a good energy. It all comes down to this now:

It is stripping the USA naked to see what it is made of (other countries too). In our case it is saying YOU CAN NO LONGER EVOLVE WITHOUT A TRUE GOV'T. (Pluto gets rid of the fakes) WE CAN'T BE A GOV'T WHEN WE ARE (OUR POLITICIANS) ARE OWNED BY BIG BUSINESS. Big monolithic gov't is a Pluto thing.

That's the test and it's very serious.

Pluto has two voices, 1) get rid of the things that stall your evolution and become stronger, or 2) die
