Chile earthquake precursor to events in July solar eclipse?
That is what was said by an astrologer on Coast to Coast. The alignments are very similar to what they will be next July, and will impact that part of the world the most.

He also said that Saturn had a lot to do with both the Haiti earthquake and the Chile earthquake.

I could be wrong about this, but I think he said that in the Haiti earthquake Saturn was in between being retrograde and direct. In the case of the Chile earthquake, Saturn was on the direct opposite side of the earth.

Not knowing much at all about astrology, just wondering what people here thought about this.

1. wouldn't it be interesting
..if the geologists would look at the gravitational stuff that the pother plkanets cause in relation to our own? Perhaps the earth is more sensitive to the push & pull of the other planets and the sun because of our own decline in magnetics?

I dunno, but someone here said something about us having something big happen in the us very soon. and I am thinking as much as we all 'expect' CA to be the next big one...that eastern area (new madrid?)could be feeling pressure from the movement in the Gulf from Haiti.

I wonder what planets/astrology can say about that too...?

2. New Madrid - no one is prepared for that
If the New Madrid erupted there is no one prepared for that. People in the middle part of the country think floods and tornados and even though we know a quake on the New Madrid fault would affect us, we just don't have a concept of it like folks around faults that erupt more. I don't know if my city would be harmed greatly by a quake there but we would certainly feel it, and there would probably be some damage. But I don't feel like people who would be affected by a quake along that fault, even in a devastating way, really expect it could happen. That would be one of the worst things that could happen in this country IMO, because we just aren't mentally prepared at all, unlike the folks on the West Coast who know without doubt it could happen to them.

6. Lots of "maps" but not of the fault
I don't know much, but I can't find a map that is very specific about the fault. There are several on Google that show where the earthquake was centered 200 years ago.

look at the map...holy cow...missouri and illinois?

Liquefaction is when the earth is shaken and goes from being relatively solid to liquid...like sand in a science beaker with water. The low lying areas near the Mississippi river could be really narly...

But like you said, just the thought of a quake has to be the REAL problem back there. Out here in Ca...WELL, ya, when the earth moves we have a certain amount of "okayness" with the event because most of us have felt it before/ Just like if I ever was in a tornado I would probably have a coronary, lol...

Peace and light to us all as the earth keeps shifting beneath ALL our feet! and blessings for those affected by the recent movements too!
