I've been trying to schedule a time for my first professional-psychic, long-session sit-down tarot reading since I left my coven--that's three years, when I used to get a reading from my former elder every six months or so! (I do a bit of my own scrying, although often I feel I'm too close to a situation to get a proper "read" on it, and of course I value whatever vibes ASAHers can share, but I haven't had a nice, long, face-to-face tarot reading in a long time.)

First it took me a brazillion years to figure out how to find a good local tarot reader when--duh--I realized I knew and trusted a New Age shopowner to make a recommendation. Then it took me another brazillion years to remember to drop into her shop and ask her. THEN it took what felt like a brazillion years (really about a week) of e-mails back and forth with the psychic to find a time that fit both our schedules.

My reading is scheduled for Tuesday. The day after Imbolc, Brigid's day--and if anyone recalls, I have a very strong association with Brigid. I have been asking Brigid for a message similar to the one I received near Imbolc last year, which was so very powerful I'm still grappling with it, but she hasn't come to me in any dreams again (yet). Perhaps she'll give me a message in my reading.

I went out to Valhalla (yes, that is the name of this place, big historic estate by the lake) and took my walk today. Gathered several green sticks to make a wand with tonight in ritual and thought about what I want to "weave" for the next cycle...and I am getting a reading tomorrow too, so we shall have to comppare notes...pm me later ;)

13. DANG IT!

Siggghhhhhh okay maybe not so much synchronicity. MG Jr. is still sick with some weird plague that goes backward: he started with a phlegmy cough, then his nose started up, and now he has a low-grade fever and corresponding tummy ickies. So no tarot for mama today. :(

Then again, I looked back in my dream journal and noticed that I didn't have my Brigid dream last year till the 19th. So I got time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)
