Volcano about to erupt

I have long had a personal notion that the world - the Earth - is a self-correcting system. That if global temperatures stay high for two long something will happen like Mount Pinatubo's explosion that will spew ash into the sky and cool things for a bit. I feel bad for the people having to be evacuated, but I hope this will help our warming planet.
