please light a candle for Ms. Pizza
(yes, that's her name) in Florida. She was fired from her 13th -- yes 13th -- job in 12 months. "Not a good fit" for the 13th time in a row. Can't leave because her mother is there and daughter in last year of high school. Had to go to Catholic Charities to get bread to have something to eat.

Got home from being fired, remembered it was the 1st day of Hannukah, and has no candles. I told her I'd light one for her. Please join me each night for the next week... :hugs:

1. It will be my pleasure to join you.
Is there more I can do, like send her a box of candles or anything else for Hannukah?

3. thank you. I don't have her address
she was a caller last night, deferring automatic investment into UTMA for her daughter. There've been a fair number of systematic investment deferrals and cancellations since I've been there, always due to job loss although usually left unspoken.

4. Oh, I see.
I usually don't get into Christmas and it brings me down - all the hype and stress. But this is the first Christmas that I'm very saddened by so many who've lost their jobs, facing a bleak holiday season. It's upsetting and I wanted to do more than light a candle for her    But I definitely will not light it in sadness, that will not do any good whatsoever

5. Sending light now
So Ms. Pizza finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel. And sending some for you, NL--it's great that you can help these people energetically as well as practically, but don't forget your shield so you don't let this energy get under your skin, 'k? :hi:

6. 'k...actually doing pretty good right now
The sad calls don't get me down. I actually was visualizing and could *see* a candle for Ms. Pizza as I was falling asleep and in my early states of sleep. And 2 little fuzzy, whitedogs kept following me in my dreams last night. I think I had rescued them.

It's the angry/yelling/abusive calls that take a toll. Smudging my aura nightly -- especially after bad nights -- has definitely helped alleviate the worst stress of those.

Plus I've had a physical ailment dragging me under for the past several weeks. Happily was able to self-diagnose pretty accurately it based on my recent urinalysis classes (actually the fecal analysis lectures ) and started self-prescription a couple days ago with curcimin and papaya/pineapple extract. Voila -- worst symptoms gone after 1 day of curcimin, rest dissipating rapidly with addition of papaya extract.

That is adding up to a much stronger me, at least for the moment. :woohoo:
