Slightly OT: Comic Books as paths to ascension!

I know we're supposed to call them "graphic novels" nowadays - anyway, I've recently been reading some recent discoveries and thought I'd share!

My current favorite is "Pomethea" by Alan Moore - Promethea, if I've caught on correctly, is the physical embodiment of Imagination, and while she does occasionally fight crime, she also spends lots of time exploring the higher realms and learning about the nature of reality. The most recent issue I read explored the Tarot as a chronicle of the creation of the Universe and the evolution of the human spirit. I don't know if Moore got the idea from somewhere, but I'd never heard it before.

Anyway, there are only 30-some issues, and they've all been collected in trade paperback, I think. I highly recommend!

I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan so I gave this a look over at Amazon and read this review:
