The hardest part of new age philosophy for many people to truly accept is that we create our own reality...it's easy to say...not so easy to completely believe in or actually live...
Once we really get to that place, we can be freed from the victimhood that has been programmed into us very deeply...it's much easier to blame someone, anyone, else...

In my own case, after several relationships, i finally got that the only constant was ME...the other faces changed, but since i was always the same, it must have something to do with the way i was :banghead:

Looking back on my life, i can see many places where things would have turned out differently if only i had made a different, perhaps better? decision...

This is what finally helped me make that breakthrough...made it easier to forgive everybody involved...it's a deceptively simple exercise, but it might bring up a lot of resistance inside...it did for me:

Go look in mirror
Look deeply into your own eyes
Say as sincerely as possible, out loud

I F...ED UP!!

Repeat as needed lol...

I found it also took a loooong time to get to, "If I had known better I would have done better," and gotten out of the I suck meme sooner and started liking then loving myself. But I guess it takes as long as it takes.
