Saturn Square Pluto, part 2
more: http://www.stariq.com/Main/Articles/P0009844.HTM

EXCERPT:

Saturn in Libra is challenging us to redefine the nature of relationships. Foremost is the question of where we draw lines to separate ourselves from others and where we need to step over those lines to love, work and play together. This is a fundamental question of identity that we encounter on a daily basis when choosing to put self-interest first or give way to accommodate others. Saturn puts issues into bold relief so that we make conscious choices rather than allowing habit to rule. This responsible planet’s traditional position of strength in Libra reflects the powerful roles of reason and justice that govern our relationships. However, fear favors Pluto in Capricorn’s challenge to Saturn that can undermine attempts at compromise and cooperation. This may also reflect an internalized sense of terror that blinds us to potential avenues of accommodation to address our very real problems. Pluto, the mythological Lord of the Underworld, is the psychic dumping ground where rational concerns about the economy, environment and war are locked away from the conscious mind. But these fears do not dissipate in the darkness of denial; they grow like toxic mushrooms that undermine faith in our capacity to make meaningful change.

One of the purposes, then, of Saturn square Pluto is to bring our fears into the light where they can be discussed in a responsible manner. This is best done with one simple rule: seek solutions. When the commitment to resolving issues is equal to the fears we have about them we are moving toward a positive outcome

Spot on for what I am dealing with these days. :eyes: Lather, rinse, repeat: "when the commitment to resolving issues is equal to the fears we have about them, we are moving forward toward a positive outcome."
