1. Hasan has a large bucket pattern
His whole chart swings from Retrograde Saturn at 22 Taurus

this is indicative of a "father who was distant", he didn't bond with, and was possibly cruel in Taurus.
When we progress his chart by direction, or primary progression, we find the Saturn at 1 degree cardinal

thus, prone to the new pressure of Saturn square Pluto in Cardinal signs. boom.

2. I was just devouring the estoteric material - since Dream's post
I am not yet at the transit interpretation part - so just the houses & the House relationship to the consciousness

from the DK Foundation website

Saturn in the 12th House:

Saturn
With Saturn in the 12th House a person tends to be haunted by the spectre of existentialism, the fear that existence is random and meaningless. Yet this placement is found in the charts of some of the most renowned spiritual luminaries. In H12, as in any other, Saturn rewards effort. People with this placement who strive to find a meaning for existence may come to great truths.
It is possible that people with Saturn in H12 are dealing with more than individual Karma, and in working through their own fear and negativity they are helping to transmute the Karma of Mankind. For such a task the rewards are commensurate but there may be years of doubt, darkness and depression before they are experienced.
People with Saturn in H12 are likely to have a parent who is a depressive or has a fearful, defeatist view of life. If not actively over-protected, the child is taught by example that existence is an intrinsically negative experience. Safety is sought in structure, both literally and metaphorically: there is a tendency to hold onto scientific truths and admit little that is not empirically provable. Many find talk of the ‘life beyond’ unnerving. Agoraphobia is also a common condition amongst people with Saturn in H12.

Saturn in the twelfth experiences the form-destroying aspect of the life with a sense of purposelessness, despair and negativity.

The rest of the planets are concentrated between the 4th & 6th houses. Only those that seem to stand out...

Pluto
With Pluto in the 4th House, the soul, over many lifetimes, is learning emotional awareness and self-sufficiency by means of a process which involves reducing dependence upon outer forms of security, particularly that provided by the mother and the home.

Mars

Mars in the 4th House frequently signifies tension in the child hood, the result in all probability of a difficult relationship with an emotionally volatile mother. The early circumstances, however, are likely to give a person an awareness of the importance of the nurturing environment to a person’s subsequent emotional development and create an interest in psychology generally. This placement of Mars is common in the charts of people who become psychologists or who undertake intensive therapy or courses in self-awareness. People with Mars in H4 who do embark upon self-discovery will usually give it precedence over everything else in their lives. There is a tendency for Mars in H4 to manifest difficulties in real estate matters and accidents around the home.

House 1-4 is the Houses of Personal Consciousness (Sun)
House IV the impulse is to define the separated self which is defined through looking backwards and through identification of the formative influences: childhood; the mother; the family; the culture; the race. The goal is self awareness and the gauge of success a sense of personal identity.

House 5-8 the Houses of Relational Consciousness (Jupiter in 5)
When the Sun, inner planets and Jupiter are in these houses, a person is attracted towards situations to which the input of others is integral.

6. also just on the novice visual perspective
I see a triangle of natal Pluto transiting Pluto and natal Saturn - some deep hidden issues striking a chord?

Moon square Pluto - emotional volatility?

4. Hi Rick
I hope you are mending well.

Something that stood out to me was Mars conjunct the south node, and square Neptune. Am I correct in assuming he came into this life with problems relating to aggression (even if Mars is in Virgo) and boundaries? The past few years Saturn has been going over his abundant Virgo planets - perhaps triggering depression and feeling restricted? And then transiting Pluto trining his Mars/Neptune, going retrograde over it and now, trining again, close to exact? Instead of constructively dealing with those anger/boundary issues, he chose to use Pluto negatively - death and destruction.

If he was born very late in the day, could that Moon be conjunct Neptune? If so, even more boundary issues, and a tendency to react with anger/criticism, but consciously controls it and hides it beneath the Virgo veneer.

It seems like a very heavy chart.

9. The chart is COLD
Too much Virgo, Scorpio, Saturn in Taurus combined. The chart is dominated by the Saturn Rx in Taurus. Mean father or upbringing. Very rigid personality, bossy, no wonder he couldn't find a slave, er, I mean a wife.

Cold. And weasely. Intolerance for imperfection in self and others, with a meddling, mean streak useful for when he felt the need to try to force others to give into his demands.

I was on the fence about whether Hasan was the actual perpetrator, but less so now.

12. Chiron in the Seventh House
Chiron in the Seventh:

You have an enormous potential to express the collective unconscious, yet there may be confusion about who you are. You act as a mirror for the self-image of others. Your initiatory path is through relationship, as this is how you find yourself. You have a potent effect on others, and as you become aware of your effect on others, you will be able to release your gift. The key to your path is the realization that others reflect and respond to the way you see yourself. You may experience serious relationship dilemmas in your life, this is where your work, your challenge and your learning are happening. Union is the goal for seventh house, and it comes through the realization that "I am you and you are me". There is a paradox in your purpose, as balance between self and other must be achieved to complete your Chironic healing and give your gift.

His parents didn't want him to join the military. He got a law degree so he could try to get out. That seems to indicate he didn't trust anyone to do for him. Do it yourself-er.

I thought of the wife issue in regards Chiron, too. Unfortunately, his wound never healed.
