I am off to the woods in the morning.

Going with some of my students and friends to a dear friend's place..where the wild chantrelle and lobster mushrooms grow :P....
I am already packed and ready to go. :)
I will keep my eye out for any coltsfoot small enough to harvest as my last batch go moldy after a two week rain :S while they were drying. This time I wont mess around with hanging them..they are going straight on my dehydrator :P.
Coltsfoot is great for coughs and I want to have enough before winter sets in.
My mullein stocks (with the heads left on) are now dry enough to drip with wax so I shall have some lovely torches (sometimes called Witches candles...sometimes called hag lights among other names) for our circles this winter. Their leaves are dried and ready for teas for colds and I saved a few stocks to make some practice arrows with so I can practice with my cedar bow.
The last of the herbs I have here are now dried and in their jars...so I am off to play!!! :D
