Is there is anyone in the Northeastern area of the country that noticed anything strange about the cloud formations today? In Ct. it was a sunny, brilliantly clear day, with just a few clouds. The cloud formations however were extremely rare. There were some of those "roll" clouds in one area of the sky (perpendicular lines of cylinder shapes) In another area it looked like someone was playing tick tac toe, clouds were criss crossing each other in a grid pattern !! In another area there was a cloud pattern that looked like the sole of a shoe! (sports shoe, with definite cleated pattern) If I'm not mistaken I read somewhere in this forum that we were being protected by our space cousins through cloud formations, or did I dream it????? while all of us have been so "down" the past few days, has anyone taken the time to look up? I was out in the yard with the dog early this afternoon, and enjoying the "non humid" milder weather. I had planned on cutting my grass before we get more rain this weekend and it gets too high! My rechargeable mower decided not to start today. I think the universe was telling me to take it easy today, 'cause my back is really KILLING. I'll try again tomorrow. I think maybe I didn't have the plug in right to charge it. (please God) I have no money for a new one. I'm very interested if anyone else noticed this besides me????

I read on DU that Obama had actually mentioned "chemtrails". But I can't remember if I found the source or not. Got sidetracked reading about his controversial science advisor.

I don't like those kind of messages; the ones that distract from the urgency of our taking responsibility for our own evolution.

I feel that much of it is disinformation and actually harmful for our evolution.

4. These were different than "chemtrails"

I live in a flight path from Bradley Int. Airport, and I see them over my house every day. These are short lines with definate stop and start points, that have other lines crossing them at regular even spacing!!! It didn't take up that much space in the sky?? Wish I'd had a digital camera today.

11. Difference between "contrails" (vapor trails you see near the airport) and "chemtrails"

Chemtrails are chemicals intentionally spread by aircraft in a crosshatch pattern. They're usually spread on a clear morning, which results in the area clouding up. There is a lot of speculation about what is in chemtrails (I believe it's a chemical mix with a heavy dose of benzene) and why they're spread, ranging from weather control experiments to disseminating viruses to mind control, depending on how tight and shiny your :tinfoilhat: is. (I lean toward weather-control experiments, myself, but I still think they're evil because they affect people's health, intentionally or unintentionally.)

I have seen chemtrails being spread near me on a lovely June day--I got so mad! :grr: Plus it's really creepy.

For that, you're to be commended! The great majority of people seem to assume that "it's always been this way. That's just what jet trails do." Not so. True CONtrails dissipate. Chemtrails not only linger, they expand. And there's more to them than the "X" patterns that caught your attention. (Certainly, anyone with any degree of curiosity and wonderment will notice the Xs because they are sufficiently out of the ordinary to make one go Hmmmmmmm.)

If you watch long enough, you will see planes laying down trails that are parallel to each other. Watch a little longer and you will see them expand, as if reaching toward each other. Pretty soon, given enough passes, artificial cloud cover will be attained. On some days, the entire sky will be covered with sickly-looking, off-white, strangely flat and wispy clouds. Now and then, Mother Earth will send real ones among the muck to show you the difference. Real clouds will generally be whiter and brighter--with depth to them. They are 3-D; the man-made ones are 2-D.

If you continue to observe, you will collect enough anomalies to fill a boxcar. You will see the trails stop suddenly as if cut by a pair of scissors. A few miles later, they will resume. You will probably see the classic "spine and ribs" pattern develop--the creepiness to which MorningGlow refers upthread. Sometimes, you may notice two planes flying close together, apparently at the same altitude. One will be laying down a big fat trail, the other will not. And sooner or later, you're going to see what I call a Dark Trail. It will appear in front of the jet, as if guiding it!

Sadly, if you post on this subject at most Internet forums, you will be immediately pounced on and ridiculed for your curiosity. People who wouldn't lift a finger if you were planning to crash your car into a brick wall at 120 mph will rush to save you from your "delusions." Total strangers will suddenly demonstrate an overwhelming concern for your sanity. The word "conspiracy" will appear within the first three replies.

And there is a conspiracy about the trails, one which rarely gets mentioned. It is the conspiracy to shut down, sidetrack and completely derail any rational discussion of what's going on right over our heads. Thank Goddess we have all been given the gift of Discernment. I would give you a link to a site which contains a wealth of observation-driven analysis of chemtrails, but it would violate The DU Rules against linking to "conspiracy" sites--oh, the irony! So if you are inclined, Google up Clifford Carnicom and look for the site which bears his surname.

No, you don't know me. I read DU daily, but rarely post anymore owing to the chaotic and snark-riddled nature of what passes for discussion in almost every major forum. The main place that I find any tolerance is here in ASAH. May it prosper!

I will definitely check out the link you mentioned. I must admit that lately I haven't spent a lot of time on sites of that type because I tend to scare myself with speculation; my :tinfoilhat: is well-broken-in, let us say. However, the subject needs to be understood and addressed.

I know what you mean about how people get shut down here at DU. I'm sorry you've become discouraged, but you're not alone--most of us have given up on expressing our views on the rest of the site for the same reason. If you wish, please post here as much as you wish--we are plenty openminded and make a sincere effort not to ridicule each other's beliefs and ideas. :hi:

and the information you shared with me. You give me pause for thought concerning this anomaly, and curiosity as to why it is happening. I would have liked to have thought that it was as a sign from those looking out for Mother Earth, and a "protection" of sorts. Now I have to ponder whether it could be for some sinister reason. Why, if the latter is the truth, have more of mankind not already perished? Much to learn and think about, is there not?

I checked it again this AM, and it's DEAD! It's charged, but the electric start on the handle isn't working. I checked Sears where we bought it in 2000, and they have the same model on sale for $399.00!! Out of the question. I'm going to see if one of my sons will come up and cut my grass with their mower, then take a look at mine. If I were 5 yrs. younger, I could have fixed it myself!! Oh well, that retrograde thing may be starting early for me!!!

19. Yes they are,

but in a smaller area, and they weren't as long. There were so many different patterns in the sky that day, that it was as if someone were up there drawing them with chalk!!!
