First, MagickMuffin, you're so sweet to do birthday threads for everyone! :hug:

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst birthdays ever...lol. I never celebrate my birthday anyway, but usually they're not flat-out miserable.

Short of someone being ill or dying, this has been a week from hell, and today seems to be the culmination of it all. :(

Anything that can go wrong, has. Starting with my car.

We don't have public transportation around here (heck, my daughter doesn't even have access to a school bus!), so not having a vehicle just isn't an option.

I was in a fender-bender Monday, but that was no big deal. But later that day my car overheated, and it's been one try after another, thinking it's fixed, but it's not.

It broke down again as I came back from one of my clients today who had a rush job (after working from 4:00 yesterday morning to 9:00 last night), but luckily I was close enough to walk home. I do have AAA if I need it. :)

Anyway, Mark is going to try one more thing to see if it finally works, and I would be MOST grateful for good vibes toward the vehicle issue being resolved.

Between the vehicle thing, my cell phone number being hijacked and irate people calling me nonstop, AND home phone not working suddenly today, I'm thinking I'm supposed to be even more of a hermit than I already am! lol

Seriously though, my nerves are frazzled and I don't know what we'll do if it's something Mark can't fix, so prayers are most welcome. :)

I know many of you are having a multitude of hard times -- these are especially intense times for so many (we've said that before and the intensity keeps building :() -- so I send you hugs and wishes that life calms down and becomes, dare I say, joy~ful?!

Many are putting a lot of stock into things breaking loose in some way as of 9/9/09? We shall see.....
