Howard Dean called my mom at the hospital!
I don't know why I didn't post this here in the first place.

During the primary Jim Dean came to town to visit the phone bank, although I was active in the campaign I was sick that day. My mom asked him to call me and he did - very nice guy.
My mom LOVES Howard and she's had four surgeries on her back - about 14 hours in the operating room. So I took the chance and e-mailed Jim and asked if he would have his brother call my mom after her last procedure. She was thrilled when he called her.
