Apparently there're handouts, a DVD and exercises to go with it. Am I the only one who wasn't aware of this? I'm an organizer! Isn't someone supposed to let me know about these things? I'm feeling kind of stupid right now. I hope no one shows up expecting some kind of framing workshop.

Although they noted that not all meetups would have video/DVD presentation. (We're growing fast here!)

I'm not a meetup convenor so I don't know how this stuff is handled.

11. I volunteered to be organizer only last month.

It was the first DFA meetup for this group and there was no organizer so I volunteered. I guess I'm kind of out of the loop and don't have a clue as to how to get into the loop.
To be honest it's tough to know what to do at these things. I was hoping to have a Senatorial candidate (for 06) speak to us but that didn't work out. Some now I'm kind of stuck.

Is there another meetup in your area? If so, try to contact them. You could also contact DFA itself.


If you've read the book you could lead a good discussion. I personally would prefer that to a DVD.

And you don't have to follow this agenda. You can craft your own according to what you think important in your locale.
