1. How sweet!
How can you bear to part with Lillie (your namesake?)

I wish I could have cats again but I'm allergic to them. :(

We're building a house now, so she'll be home soooooon :)

A secret for cat allergies: Gonna make me sound like a freak, but everyone I've ever known that had a cat allergy could tolerate Calico cats, and their litters. But the mom has to be a Calico.

Actually I'm named after the cat, and my grandmother. :)
I use Lilli on the internet(s) ;)

11. That is freaky about calico cats and allergies

Do you think it might also be true about Torties. That would explain my daughter. We have 2 torties and had one male tabby. (Sniff...Walter, may he rest in peace.)

Anyway, when my daughter would visit friends with cats, she would come home complaining of allergies. But our cats never seemed to bother her UNLESS she had alot of close contact with Walter, the only non-Tortie.

So do you think it might hold true for Torties as they are basically Calicos without white patches?

That is really weird. I'll have to tell my daughter. She might want to stick to Calico or Torties in her future.

edited to add:

Forgot to tell you your cats are adorable. Thanks for posting their pictures!

3. Hypo-allergenic Siberian forest cats
don't posses the enzyme in their saliva that causes allergies. Find one by Googling "Siberian cattery".

5. Sounds expensive!
I'll keep that in mind but with four dogs who love to chase cats and squirrels, we should probably stay feline-free for awhile. ;) Thanks!

He's the weirdest little thing. I'm not sure, but I think he thinks he's a dog.
