how many of you have a cat crowding your keyboard right now?

Wow, is it the cooler weather or what? Kitty is on my lap and trying to get my fingers to scratch her head rather than type. Purring all the while. Now she wants to sleep with her head resting on the back of my right hand. Sheesh!

Usually she's happy to sleep on a chair next to me as I sit here. I mean really: if I could get this cat off me I could take a picture of this. It's ridiculous. :)

1. LOL... not right now, but often.

Of my four, 1-1/2-year-old Izzy and 2-month-old Moke are the most persistent. ALL of them were, in turn, dedicated to interfering with my hand-keyboard function as kittens, insisting on using the back of my hand or my arm as a pillow for napping. :D

I think it might very well be the cooler weather. That's definitely snuggle-kitteh time!

I was able to get a few pictures at times when the cell phone was within easy reach. Just a sampling of two of them:

2. LOL!

Those are so cute! And hysterically funny!

The puppy is more likely to get in the way of keyboarding. I never have allowed Boogie cat near my computer. He sits on my lap sometimes. He will knock things over nearby, but since he hates to see me go off my rocker, he avoids the computer proper.

I have one cat in particular who likes to sit on my lap while I am at the keyboard.
I have noticed that with the cooler weather they do want to get closer...especially at night.

7. My 3-month-old kitten is fascinated by the computer

She's very interested in the way things move and change, and tries to follow the cursor.

She also likes to jump on the laptop mousethingy, completely screwing up my online experience.

8. The weather is turning colder

and cats are starting to find our laps irresistible.

I have a big old Maine Coon and they have got to be the ultimate lap cats.
