But what a dilemma. Her name is Odile but they's been calling her Franzie. We'll have to sort it out. Right now she's laying on my bed watching the cats...who are not impressed (nor worried). A few growls when Jake and Elwood both tried to see who she is at the same time. I can understand it. She's tiny (read standard for her breed)

We'll get more pictures when the weather clears up. But, for now, please meet the new addition to our family.

1. She looks very sweet.

Its sooo hard to get a good picture of a black dog inside. Eddie is an all black lab and I have to take his pics outside because he just fades into the background. Can't wait to see more pics of....your new girl. Not sure what to call her yet.

The worst part of it is that I have a brother-in-law named Fran. That could get hairy if we go visit.

I kind of think that your kitties' reaction to her means that she will be accepted quickly into your home.

Why not try both names out on her? The one she responds to the most is the name she thinks she has?
