Firefox/Comcast homepage problem
I am trying to get the Comcast homepage, http://www.comcast.net/home.html to load in my FireFox browser. The little load indicator goes quickly to about 80% then drops to a flashing 50% loaded on the lower left corner, on the right corner it says "Waiting for/Connecting to Comcast" (intermittent flashing). When I stop the load, the tab says "Welcome to Comcast High-Speed Internet!" White page. Welcome to nothing, I guess.

It opens on AOHell, and Avant, and I'm sure it would work on IE, but I won't go there.

I cleared history, and my cache, the cookies on FireFox are identical to my other browsers (I cleared and re-imported them). I went to the pop up blocker and allowed comcast. I turned OFF the popup blocker. I restarted my computer. I have Macromedia Flashplayer 7 on Firefox. I had the preview 1.0, and just updated to the new 1.0 release.

I have been able to get Comcast on this browser in the past.

Any Ideas? They certainly have none @ Comcast. :(

2. Thanks I clicked on your link and same thing
I have several Comcast cookies stored and I allow cookies for Comcast but it's not even getting to the 'cookie' stage.

Thanks though

3. nevermind
It's a Comcast incompatibility w/ JavaScript COMBINED w/ remnants of my old profile from the preview version of 1.0 mashed by the update. I have to create a new profile. But all I really wanted to do was set up my Thunderbird thinger. I don't need no steenkin' Comcast Home Page. But the fact that it was screwed up MADE me call them, and invest the 2 minutes I needed to set up Thunderbird. Sheesh!

n00bs. gotta love us, doncha? :7
