Can't stay logged in to DU

I managed to reinstall windows XP after my desktop crashed. It now has many many problems but the one that drives me crazy is that I now have to log in to DU everytime I come back to the site. I have literally lived here for almost 5 years and this is driving me nuts. Please help.

1. Try going to the forums

This has been happening to me as well, if I go to the forums from the home page it logs me in, even though on the home page it appears I am not logged in.

2. Check your internet options

security and privacy settings. When you reinstalled XP it probably changed them.

I think that it was the second suggestion that worked but it's hard for me to tell. The reason that I wanted to be logged in (you can tell that it's not because I post alot) was that I got large type when I logged in. Now that everything has changed on my machine, I'm not sure whether I'm getting large type or not but I am remaining logged in when I come and go.

Thanks again! DU is the greatest! When I decide that I can face some of my other problems, I'll be back.
