Bluetooth help needed!!! I have a Palm Zire72 and Zoom USB adapter
I love my PalmOne Zire72, but the Bluetooth is not working as advertised.

Is it just that Bluetooth is much more difficult to configure than is claimed, or am I just not doing something right.

Like I said, I have a Zire 72 and a Zoom, Class 1, USB adapter. One thing I should say is, I had a Hard drive crash about 9 months ago and their are still a few lingering bugs to work out.

The main problem is, most of the time, the two do NOT connect. One thing I noticed is that, at Computer start up, the order which my startup items load is rarely the same. As a result, sometimes I get a Blue/white BT icon in the "Notification Area" of the task bar, some time I get a Blue/red BT Icon in the "Notification Area", some times I get both, and sometimes I get neither after a re-boot.

When I open the Network Connections window, it has a Red X above the BT symbol.

On my Zire72, after doing a "setup Devices"/"PC Setup," when I hit "Connect" I get "Error:Serial: timeout. Could be bad cable or faulty Modem. (0x0305)" error message.

Anyone know of a program that might fix this type of problem, or a web site to read with good info?

Or a list of steps to trouble shoot this problem might help and would be better than what I have now?
