What's the best program to use when transferring programs from XP to XP ?

What's the best program to use when transferring programs from XP to XP ?
I know about the "file transfer wizard" and all that but moving programs requires a different beast. :)


I have client with expensive video programs (on his old XP unit) who is buying a new Computer with XP. (Yeah...He Loves XP)
He doesn't have all the Disks for his video programs.

1. I think you'll need
to make an image of the entire disc with XP and program files. http://www.imgburn.com/

I bet the video programs have application data and a stack of registry entries that are required to function properly.

There are a few not free programs that say they can transfer programs - few suggestions at this link http://www.pcnet-online.com/content/general/moving-programs-to-a-new-computer.htm

2. I keep an image on all my machines. For XP Acronis is good
