1. meh
Attention isn't much of a commodity around here.

Have you posted that in the Artists group?

Not that I understand your intention

3. No good intention
It is a reach, but maybe some insight regarding different art software. I do post in Art Forum, but it's pretty dead in there.

2. Hey, that's grand
I especially like the line work, not so much the bright colours. I downloaded the program to have a look; it's a freeware Photoshop lite.

I lol'd at 'benefits of a Wacom'. I've had one for years and have never found it to be anywhere as intuitive or accurate as good, old fashioned, pen and paper.

4. Yeah
I've never used a Wacom Tablet. I either scan a preliminary art sketch and work that up...or I just use the mouse...

5. As to computer art
Edited on Thu Jul-02-09 07:02 AM by Steerpike
Initially I did not care for the idea of CGI or Art Software. Actually the idea of it repulsed me. But, now after a few years I come to terms with it and find it's just another medium.

I like to dabble in it becouse I find it's interesting. I do feel that I'm not using the "software" up to it's potential. There are "techniques" that I don't know how to do, like "layers". I still use the software like real paints and brushes...so my work has an unpolished feel to it. But, I tread forward unrelenting.

At the moment I have some time at work to do art, so I have to use the computer. This is just a logistic thing. But, I will take this as an opportunity to do a little workout with the computercentric medium.
