whats a good Audio Card. dont need anything special, piece of crap ASUS proprietary board card wont
work... for what i paid for it.. they should at least reply to "our" ASUS forum posts.. lots of people complain about it. dont think i'll buy anymore ASUS products..

1. I've always been a fan of Turtle Beach/Voyetra
I used a TB Montego to digitize a bunch of old vinyl 33 and 45 records and had great success. I've even done 78 rpm records by recording at 45 rpm and then changing the pitch/equalization in software. The Montego is obsolete now but the Santa Cruz is a good choice.

The TB Audio Advantage Micro is a very nice USB sound card with a built in high quality headphone amp.. Nice choice if you like to listen on headphones.. Plus it can be moved from system to system in mere moments.
