Help! How do I get rid of a "landing page" on my computer?

There was apparently a trial period for spyware software which was installed on my computer and has expired. Now everyday my computer grinds around until it opens up this "landing page" which is an advertisement to renew or purchase the software. I don't want the software or the landing page. How do I get rid of this nuisance?

Address minus the http:// is shop.trendmicro.com/tmasy/lp_general.html. It offers me no option out of it, only to purchase the darned thing.

What version of Windows are you running?

Control Panel
Add or Remove Programs
(wait for list)
Find it in the list
(look for TrendMicro and or Anti-Spyware)
Click to Highlight
Click the remove button and follow on-screen instructions.

reboot
