I have downloaded this and made a boot cd using my xp home cd

I have downloaded this and made a boot cd using my xp home cd

and it boots just fine but I haven't got the nerve up just yet to install it as I kind of like the XP install I have now. My question is has anyone tried anything like this and if so what do you think about a pared down xp install. I do some AutoCad but other than that all this computer is used for is internet browsing, ebay, email and the like. Any comments please

I use the patch listed here (it's freeware) and resources here to customize my UI. It can take some time to get things things the way you want but if you're adventurous, give it a try too.
