Linux help needed cross post
Maybe I shoulda posted in this group instead: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=242x15266

I have just installed Ubuntu/7.04 Feisty Fawn x86_64 on another machine and have a few things I would like to do.
I would like to run a couple 32 bit apps, BitWise http://www.bitwiseim.com/download.php , BOINC http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/download.ph... and Opera. Is there a way to do this?
Next I would like to control the Linux machine through my network from my XP Pro/Vista machine. I am looking at this virtualization software http://www.nomachine.com/download.php for this purpose. Should I put the server on Linux and a client on Windoze? You think this program is the way to go?

Any feed back would be much appreciated.

1. Aww man, easy fix
just switch to 32 bit!
Done! Now everything I wanted to run was a breeze to set up and get going!
64 bit is just not ready for prime time!
