Portuguese Sea Kale (Couve tronchuda)
I discovered this unique vegetable last year. I heard about it online, and grew it in 2010. It was a real winner in my opinion, large beautiful plants that bear kale or collard like leaves atop a tender, succulent leaf stalk very much like bok choy.
