Did anyone see Cardoz on Sarah Moulton Sat?
I really want to his chicken pilaf, but I didn't catch the beginning. How much stock and coconut milk did he use?
Thanks

I don't how I missed that! I put in his name as a search and got nothing but an episode listing.
Can't wait to make this!

4. I'll let you know.
It just sounds heavenly...and I'm not crazy about traditional pilaf because of the nuts (pine nuts?).

5. I always scoffed at tradition and used almonds, pecans or walnuts
in any recipe that called for pine nuts. It's not that pine nuts aren't buttery and delicious and I'm not allergic to them. It's the cost.

Every fall I get a few bags of almonds, pecans and walnuts and freeze them. That keeps me going all year. They're cheapest in the fall and I can usually find sales, at Costco if not anywhere else.
