Favorite food websites and blogs?
I've changed to opera and am redoing my bookmarks. Have any suggestions for great food websites and blogs?

I like them all, food in history, home chefs, good recipe sites etc.

TIA

Luc

2. My number one go to site for recipe inspiration is finecooking.com
I like it because I have had very few disappointing dishes. They also have great general articles about specific ingredients or preparation methods. I also like some of the ways you can build a dish based on your preferences or what you might have on hand.

My second site is epicurious.com because I really like their weekly menu planners. They give me great ideas and I can put together a shopping list that will cover meals for up to two weeks. However, I find the results variable. This is not such a bad thing, as I am learning how to improvise in order to improve.

Sites I really don't like are those that include 100's of reader submitted recipes.

I look forward to seeing what others like!

3. ditto on epicurious.com

I go there for ideas - you plug in your ingredients and what kind of dish and, even when its a little obscure, there bound to be something good.

6. KingArthurflour.com

I've never had anything that wasn't top notch from there.

and for fun I have StumbleUpon.com - and I use the Food/Cooking channel

It randomly goes to sites that have been recommended - this was the first one today...
http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1QYEou/picky-palate.com/2011/01/17/candy-bar-chocolate-chip-cookie-sandwiches/

isn't finding something like this fun?
