Sunday Kitchen time!
Not too much today, really. Didn't make everything I wanted to. Actually, the only thing that got missed were the garlic mushrooms.

Today was a pot of Italian Wedding Soup, a batch of the Ain5 with bread flour and semolina, those chocolate orange loaf cakes that turned out strange but still edible. The last thing, which we just finished, was 6 or so dozen chocolate pizzelles...one at a time. Bill wanted to have them and he helps make them so we get it down to a good rhythm and zip right through them. We'll make the anise ones another night this week. A good many of them will go to work with both of us.

Bill is taking about half the soup to work with him tomorrow. He likes to show off my culinary skills when he gets the chance.

All the deeeshes are done and I'm ready to be horizontal here very shortly.

Everyone have a wonderful evening and sleep well. Monday's comin'!

:hi:

2. What a happy, productive way to spend the day!
I'm sure Bill's co-workers will be thrilled with their lunch tomorrow, especially with pizzelles for dessert. Dishes done here, too. We'll both sleep well tonight. Of course, I'll sleep well because of the Nyquil, but you deserve a good rest after all that good cookin'.

4. What? No pictures? I really look forward to your picture threads
and want to see those chocolate pizzelles. Oh well, just make sure you take pictures of the anise ones. You're a regular wonder in the kitchen, and it's no wonder Bill is proud of your efforts.

5. What was strange about the orange loaf cakes?
Inquiring minds want to know. :)

As far as my kitchen goes, I am in cookie heaven as are the kids.

Tonight, I'm gonna whip up that minestrone posted here.

Happy Eating!
