Introducing my new food blog...

My hubby gave me this domain for our 31st wedding anniversary. I'm learning so much about how to use my computer and my camera. If you care to take a peek, any comments would be welcome. :hi:

I should recaption that photo because I think it relates our state of health very well. We have been on the same diet for over 31 years (we shacked for a while, yanno) during which time we visited McDonald's exactly once, in 1980 while we were out shopping. Eating well improves the quality of a person's life at every age.

19. Sorry you missed the photo on your first visit.

The site was undergoing some editing yesterday so not everything was up at the same time. If I finish my QT movie on the Plums soon, I'll post it by next weekend.

I have photos of our anniversary meal, too, and when I get around to it I'll be posting restaurant reviews. Thanks so much for sharing the FUN! :hi:

with the utmost respect, I would have liked more close ups of the ingredients and less background...for example, the strawberries in the sink. I am not a photographer, I just think it would be more pleasing.

I'm not a photographer, either, as you may have noticed. I do like to take closeups of the food but it took me a few days of snapping photos to come to that conclusion. I'll be posting either a movie or a slide show with the method of making plums in plum liqueur and I took some nice closeups in that series. Drop by any time for a virtual cookie or cordial. :hi:

I wasn't able to post the movie "Plums in Plum Liqueur - The Method and the Madness" that I intended to do. I finished the slide show and scored it, but now it's just too big to fit on the blog! You look great despite having to eat those gummy chicken skin dumplings. :silly: Your skin is soooo smooth!

Need to get some chicken skin and smear it on my face ;) Maybe as a sideline you could cook up some of Gram's secret recipe face masks or something.

26. That's quite a leap, madmax!

I ate lots more burgers than I did Grandma's dumplings. The smooth skin comes from minimum sun exposure (no sun tans after 25) lots of water drinking and getting plenty of vitamins through colorful vegetables and fruits. I give myself a Vitamin E treatment once a week by applying 2 gelcaps of E to my very clean face then waiting for 20 minutes or longer. After I wash it off with soap and water I can see a slight tightening effect. Hope that's not TMI! Chicken skin face mask! :rofl:
