1. What are those things around the plate?
Looks kind of like fried spam, and something else?

6. Fried Spam, green pepper rings, and either ketchup or spaghetti sauce
It's just so terribly wrong. It's worthy of Sandra Lee.

My mother might have made the Krap dinner and fried the Spam and even sliced a few green pepper rings on the side, but she'd never have put the Krap dinner into a mold nor arranged the plate in 50s chic. Thank gawd.

4. Apparently the day was not so busy as to ...
... preclude the carving of radishes. The photo is very funny.

7. The pie looks good, though. And at least there's something
raw (radishes & celery) to eat with the molded kraft dinner. Wish I could read the print on that shopping list.

9. Ain't that a hoot?
James Lileks is a Minneapolis newspaper writer who has a website devoted to the Gallery of Regrettable Food.

It's hilarious. He also has it published in book form.
