C&B-a-thon?

I know we're scattered all over, but there must be local pockets of us.

I live north of Boston. I'd be interested in group trips to some places I know (Nepalese, Afghani, King Arthur Flour, maybe others). Anyone else around here? I think Ellen is, but she can't be the only one (although one is enough).

7. Jamaica Plain, you frigging tourist.
I thought everybody knew that one if they'd spent more than a week in eastern Mass.

8. Eastern MA
is limited to the cape, Boston, 128, North End, South End, etc.

There's also a Jamaica, VT.

Of course, with that attitude, you might be eating alone. We don't allow frigging tourists in our exclusive dining club. Head out to Provincetown, you heathen.

6. Great idea! Also might consider foodie meetup groups in your area.
Ever visited the Meetup.com site? They provide a way for people to gather and organize around any topic/interest under the sun. And if you don't see one that is descriptive of your particular interest you can start your own group.

Also might look into groups such as Foodbuzz:

9. And here I thought you were from NJ. Could not place the accent.
Isn't Greywarrior from Lynn? A few months ago I saw a DU bumper sticker on a red car in Peabody.

I'm also from North of Boston. Would love to meet fellow DUers from this neck of the woods.
We could all visit the Fluff factory!!

PS, there are a couple of good bars around here, not dives, just nice places to meet. I'm afraid I cannot afford to travel to exotic places but meeting people with similar interests is fun.

I wonder if there are any DU foodies out here in the central Missouri sticks? Let me know. I'm 50 miles from Jefferson City; 80 miles from Columbia; 100 miles from Springfield, but arrangements could be made........

14. Looks like it's Tesha and her SO (maybe) and me.

I'm torn between ordering a lot of everything and taking home or just a little at a time (what I tend to do). The rest of you will have to ante up.

If she's a good enough cook maybe we'll have a cook-out one day.
